I learned the relevance of the old military adage about the best laid plans for combat engagement never surviving more than 10 seconds on the battlefield, before going straight down the 🚽🧻 in F. U. Fortunately for me and the guys watching my back, I was pretty good at using math and geometry to anticipate where the 💩 storm would be coming from, and what possible access points they would have to utilize, and how, to potentially ruin our day with, and our CO usually concurred with my deductions, using his West🤺Pointe♟️education, to narrow down those probabilities into a very likely ENEMY attack scenario to defend against.
Our enemy kill ratio was staggeringly in our favor, despite the home field advantages enemy forces usually had over us.

I guess I'm a bit of both.
I'm kind of spontaneous. But I also like to know ahead of time if I'm supposed to do something like go out to dinner with friends on Saturday night, for example, so that I can be prepared.
When it comes to travel vacations, I like to do lots of research and plan itineraries and sights to see, while leaving lots of slack to do spur of the moment things while we are there.
I'm generally a planner. I'm organized and I like efficiency and I seek value in most things I do.
But I also can't stand rigidity, always predictability, routine that turns into the mundane, and so I need some spontaneity too. I like fun things that weren't planned, that you just do in the moment because it feels right. That can be liberating, and you don't agonize over the pre-planning to the point of snuffing out the fun.
I always plan things but I’m willing to make small spontaneous choices such as lengthening or shortening a friendship date but I avoid big changes cause I always budget my cash for events the month before I do it which is why I have not borrowed money in over ten years - I do not take risks.

I’m a planner. But have learned to be spontaneous over time. So when going on vacation I’ll chart the trip, reserve the hotels, and find something to do for one of the days. But otherwise will leave the rest to figure out once I get there. Learned that asking the locals what they recommend is better than planning out every hour.
I'd like to think I'm a spur of the moment type, but in reality I get very little done unless I've planned for it. So I usually meet myself halfway by planning something right before I do it lol. Hell, when I flew from London to Miami on a redeye, I only thought to check if I needed a travel visa as I was headed to the airport! So, yeah, I need a PA to plan shit for me so I can delusionally continue my way of stumbling from one event to the next with minimal disruption 😂
I am ''organized''. So I mostly won't need elaborate plans for the things I want to do (or need to) because I'm prepared; not to confuse with 'prepping' :D
In a way, this is planning - but it gives me the flexibility to respond to the unexpected.
Where I plan in a very detailed way: my profession (it is highly technical' and my/our products are quite complex).I am a planner... only thing is... once the plan is in place I lean towards being spur of the moment.
I just need to know what is supposed to be happening, that way in my head I can formulate alternate plans just in case the main plan doesn't go as anticipated..
Yeah I'm fucked up like that for real...
Flying by seat of pants is a hell naw in my world..Planner for sure, but if something falls through or if I accomplish what I want to get done in a day and feel like doing something else, I can be spontaneous.
Probably a mix of both because I'll make a plan but not necessarily follow it and i'll end up doing stuff on the spur of the moment. But interesting question.
If you fail to plan you plan to fail, but on the flip side I've done spur of the moment trips. To different states or international when I can, sometimes you need to take fuckitol.
spur of the moment type
sometimes planner type but mostly spur of the moment
When you plan things it isn't as fun as if they were just happening in the momentI'm a even balance. I'm very spontaneous but also a planner, it really depends on what it is we are doing
I so wish I could be spur of the moment. But I need plans. I need to know it all. I hate it and I know I do it. But I can’t help it. Lol. I’m very ocd
Both. Although I wish I'd planned more meticulously when I was younger. Take for example saving $$$$$ for a rainy day and wisely investing it. I'd be a day closer to retirement. Ah, well. Ya live ya learn.
I'm a combination of both yes certain things I plan but other things well got go do it ✌️
I'm definitely a planner type, I like to be prepared for things than could happen and then improvise a bit if something doesn't go according to what I thought
I am the greatest improviser both in my job and in my personal life. It's like my wife planned out a vacation before with me and we got hit by a storm on the boat. Now I can take over because she's panicking because things didn't go according to plan while everyone is vomiting on the boat. This is where I shine. Well, I don't really know what to do here. I'm just not panicking at all. But my wife takes comfort in me not panicking and vomiting like her.
I'm def both. I like to be prepared for anything. Any outcome for any scenario.
But if you say hey let's go skydiving I'm already out the doorPlan. I can’t deal with impromptu decisions. I’m pragmatic. I am definitely willing and able to do adventurous things and welcome them, but if you try to spring something on me at the last minute as a surprise I’ll just say no.
Planner all the way. Had to know my babies genders before they were born. Planner to a fault really.
i try to be spontaneous and go with the flow as long as i get to run in the morning and skate in the afternoon and eat my whole foods. hows that for answering
Well it kind of depends on if I have anything planned for that day if I didn't. I guess that would be nice spur of the moment but sometimes I hate those days. Because by the time take a shower get dressed find your car keys happy days already over I always wish I would have planned it. Just a little bit better
I'm more of a spur of the moment but I like to know my schedule... Know when it's time to relax vs time to be busy... Something like that so some minor planning on terms of knowing my future days and what they look like to some extent. Some predictably, predictably Is the word I'm looking for
