I feel the same when i find myself alone in summer, I don't know what triggered this depression for you but i actually answered a q9from you about 13 reasons why show and the first sentence i said was it's a dark show, watching things may affect you in a bad way, the director is trying his best to make you live the experience of the protagonist, so may you need to hang out more with friends and watch some good shows which will make you laugh so hard, that's my way to escape depression, but unfortunately it sometimes doesn't work with me because i'm a thinker man who doesn't stop using his brain to analyze everything to make himself depressed and feel that the world left him behind, you are still young to do the same as i do, even me still young too, so i think stopping our brains for a while will solve the problem. And if you have any ideas i hope you tell me it, that's will be nice from you.
I was like that. I mean i still am but i just got used to this. Yeah, thats what being depressed feels like. I still wouldn't call it depression tho, cuz that is when u totally hit that void of absolute numbness and getting out on your own seems impossible. This one's just a feeling mostly depending on our surroundings and lifestyle or any incident. Its just temporary numbness where the positive side of emotions is scarce and negative is dominant. Being like that for long can either make someone used to it or it could end up worse like panic attacks.
Play chess, an old woman once told me about her father, and how he was messed up after coming back from war, the most important thing is to realise you may have a reason for feeling sad, it may not be as serious as surviving war, she told me that when he was in a mental hospital they taught him to weave baskets, and he made an amazingly large laundry basket, life is worthwhile if you use your time in the persuit of activities that provide rewards, and tasks that have meaning once a challenge has been completed.
Thank You for giving me a chance to help you. I can say you may"Feel Depressed" or are Depressed because I have felt and also do feel and understand you cause I feel that way and have also felt the things you've said. Like wise You are in Your Feelings as well. So the things you've mentioned could be a sign. Nevertheless Remember You are in control and believe it or not You Control Your Feelings. Sometimes you just don't want to do or don't and that's why Milwaukee Won The Finals. But anyway We tend to let everything else on the outside effect us on the inside. Listen to the Good Voice in your head and don't entertain the bad. Thank God for You. If you can't find your purpose Make you a purpose. Make your Purpose A Purpose! Remember though" When It's Bad, It Could Be Worse"!

Yes I’m feeling the exact same way , and it goes away and comes back throughout my life. My lowest days have led to me hurting myself. But living with depression I can tell you that things do turn around. For me I find it really hard to open up to people I push everyone away when I feel this way. so I’ve found that going to the gym really has helped me channel those feelings into somthing positive. Keep pushing through this storm babe you got this. Find somthing to keep your body and mind busy know you aren’t alone in the way you feel.

There's various levels of depression, and yes I do believe you are to some degree. Sometimes you have to try to snap yourself out of it. Even if you don't feel like it, try going out somewhere and doing something. Often it can help a lot. Exercise, even just go for a 20 min walk outside can do wonders for me sometimes. Listen to music can also help sometimes for me. If there's something that makes you happy, do it. Spend some time with friends/family if it helps keep your mind off the negative thoughts for a while. We all can get depressed, but try not to let it consume you.
Please listen to me, I was seventeen , i lost my fiancee to brain cancer , i almost killed myself sometimes life is very sad and unbearable, my parents sent me to therapy and then to London , england , change of things helped me a lot , the life is a pumpy ride , we all have good and bad times, I lost my dear sister it was devastating but life goes on , we all going to die one day so try to enjoy whatever , change things around you make them your way and dont live with passed time, be positive , have fun because you might never see and live this moment on earth , go and have good time.
In my opinionated experience with myself that physical pains are hand in hand when dealing with depression in that sense. It could be that your dealing with more self doubt thats lead to a less desirable image of oneself. What changes have took place that started all this, it doesn't sound as this is being a normal occurrence. Can PM if you want. Best of wishes.
What you have described is in all sense, the symptoms of depression. You might want to notice your diet and sleep cycle as well as they are also a major factor in depression. If your diet and sleep cycle has been disrupted and you have any negative changes in your daily behaviour then you are likely to already have depression. Try to occupy yourself with any activity. It should be something that makes you move a lot and if possible try to bring friends into it to.
Well there is a lot levels. But ya know it's really bad depression if you listen to your fav song or show or do whatever you like and it feels awful or meh. That's a key way to know if your really depressed. But minor depression is more reflected in motivation problems or attitude.
There's being depressed because of a medical (mental) condition such as PTSD , head trama , bipolar genetic condition chemical exposure etc. And there is being depressed because you're in a tough spot in life and it's just bad. The trick , is figuring out why you're depressed.
This was reading my own past words, I suggest definitely try going to therapy talk out anything you want, I remember bargaining with myself, like I can’t drive off the road and die until I know what happens at the end of Smallville or I've read the final installment of a book series
It looks like you’re depressed to me. Did you get diagnosed for depression by a psychologist or psychiatrist? Can you get therapy or talk to someone close to you that you trust about this?
Believe it or not, everyone gets depressed from time to time. However, if it lingers for to long, then we have to reexamine what's causing it, and see another's help if necessary.
Sometimes it could be regrets or trauma from the past that causes us to fall into that stare of mind, but realizing we have a goal to reach, despite our shortcomings, will eventually make us stronger, and make our issues less significant.
Well, by the sounds of your symptoms it sounds like your depressed typical depression symptoms: Loss of Interest / Low energy / Crying spells / Feelings of worthiness / Sleeping too much or not enough yes my suggestion is that your depressed and should contact a doctor to see what's going on
Do NOT self-diagnose. If you think you have a mental problem ask your doctor for a referral to a counselor. They are pros at helping you sort out what's real and what's just your imagination.
Everyone has times where things don't seem very exciting, but if you don't find joy in what you do, the people that are part of your life, and you don't look forward to anything, you really do need to talk to a counselor.
You're 18 years old. I'm gonna assume you just graduated high school, and are not sure which direction you should steer your life now. You've left behind a structured environment that gave you daily direction. Now it's you that has to give yourself direction. You will soon be leaving the nurturing environment of your home life.
Layout a pathway to your future, whether it be higher education or beginning your career in the business world. Idle minds tend to get depressed.

First of all you ain't none of those what you describe as every single person on this planet has felt that way sometime in his life.
It happens when you try to attcah value to the existance stop that and you will be free.
If you feel no value to your existance and know this no one really is worth existance there is nothing as such
We are all dots no matter however great your achievement is later it will.
Be happy and chill don't compare don't take tension these feelings are flutery and common
No one is great no one is ungreat
Live how you want to live not harming anyone

Yes I would say very, potentially other aspects to it,
you really should book a counselling session, that what you can go over the details.
a decent counsellor will be able to get the right information from you.
it’s a bit like recognising why you feel like this, what things make you feel like this, what happens to make you feel this way,
then look at how to resolve, cope etc with each type of issue,

Your welcome, hope it helps, know from experiences that depression is insidious and sneaks up on you.

No, I've never been diagnosed depression before. And in two days I will go to the psychiatrist. I also talk about this with my friends who know me.
That's good. I hope it will help you
