*Like for cleaning a blender after making a smoothie.. empty your smoothie into a glass fill the blender with water add a tiny bit of dish soap and turn the blender back on.. then you just have to rinse out the soap instead of taking it all apart.

*When cleaning car cup holders the kind in the middle console its helpful to wet a rag or paper towel whatever you use grab a water bottle the base of it (not the part you drink out of) and set the rag on top of the cup holder so its just laying there take the water bottles base put it on the rag press it down and spin it around and taaaadaaa its clean so much easier then getting your hand in those small areas.

What tips or tricks have made your life easier?

Or maybe home remedies for when your sick.. like if I have a cough or tickle in my throat I boil hot water I add a little cayenne pepper, lemon juice and honey. Also ginger instead of lemon juice works fine too..

Like itch weed (aka nettles) it grows everwhere and it great on pain. It works better asprin.
You can make it into a tea, jelly, hand cream and you can every eat it raw

@EnglishEuropean yes and works on mild pains to. I rubbed a some jucie and boiled leaves of neetle on a burn from a fire once and it ease the pain. Till I could get home and treat it with better stuff. It did not kill the pain from the bad burn, but numbed it to make it barable to deal with.

(had a bad camping mishap. I was drunk and fell into the camp fire)

When I was trying to learn and remember which side of a boat is port or starboard, I couldn't remember which was which until I came up with this trick.
Imagine being in a boat facing the bow, or the front.
The word "port" has the same number of letters as the word "left".
I was able to remember immediately after coming up with the idea.
I used it once and never needed it again, but I remember it to help others who I see experiencing the same difficulty. That doesn't occur too often, of course, but it's helped some people.
There are people who will say, "But "starboard" and "right" doesn't have the same number of letters."
I tell them it doesn't matter, just put "port" and "left" together and you're in business.
Sometimes I'll get a "doe in the headlights" look for a few seconds, then an "OK", then a smile or word of thanks shortly thereafter.

Had an Irish housemate when I was at Uni who at the first sign of cold with any of the other housemates would boil up a boil of whisky and honey and feed us that through out the day... no idea if I worked as I was too pissed by the end of the day to remember one of my house mates had a cold! lol

Unclog your shower head by mixing equal parts white vinegar and water and pouring it into a plastic bag. Tie the bag around the shower head to immerse the holes in the solution and secure with a twist tie. Let it soak for up to an hour, then remove and wipe away the loosened deposits

To remove wine stain from the carpet:
Step 1
Blot the wine stain with a cloth towel or paper towel while it is still wet.
Step 2
Mix one part water and three parts baking soda in a small bowl until it turns into a paste.
Step 3
Apply the paste to the wine stain and allow it to dry completely.
Step 4
Vacuum the stain and baking soda paste off of the carpet.

sure ummm... if you wanna stay cool with no A/C pur cool water on your veins particularly the ones in your wrists. it helps a lot. I learned this by watching kangaroos on a documentary lick their veins to keep cool. lol

@sensible27 Practically all forms of human interaction have some component of manipulation to them as I see it, whether unintentional and subconscious, or conscious and intentional. I'm a bit too introspective and obsessed with questioning the motives behind my actions to keep things subconscious. I used to get depressed after doing things like giving away an entire month's salary to a particularly pitiful homeless man with no shoes while it was snowing by questioning if my intentions were actually good or if I just wanted to feel better about myself.

I now judge the morality of our actions based on whether it serves a wholly selfish purpose or has an altruistic component. The manipulation component is unavoidable for me since what is generally in the subconscious for many people is now in my conscious stream of thought.

Yet this strategy of being reluctant to give to others, but still giving anyway, can be a useful defensive strategy to allow us to still remain generous and ultimately serve an altruistic function without making others too dependent on our generosity to the point of us being exploited and drained empty.

acetone will take colored stains from your countertops, I seen a kool laid stain on counter top, and tried that, it came right off. acetone just popped into my mind one time, so i tried it.

baking soda in bathwater makes your skin so soft.

If your nerves are shot, use corn starch in bathwater and it will stop your itch, because you are itching because your nerves are shot.

baking soda and or dawn soap jus a dap, will take any stain out fast, right after you spilt something on your clothes.

skin so soft from avon, keeps biting bugs from biting ou.

Coca~cola has so... many fixers for your body and/car/etc

if you have a canker sore keep a tum laying against it, and it will take it away real fast!

Ice packs work wonder underneith your eyes where it is puffy, you will actually feel it leaking out. works wonders.

duct tape fixes so many things.. (Am a Fixer girl)

jello water (the instant powder) warm that up with water, drink it, it will take away nausea and even dehydration. drink it warm or hot, it's ok to add some ice in it.

eating yogurt/ or taking probiotics will help keep away yeast infections and help with digestive issues.

baby shampoo will clean the crust from eyes from pink eye.

using cocabuter"palmers" brand works so well to shave with.

vicks will take away a fever by putting a thin layer on bottom of your feet, don't forget your socks, (do this at night).
