What is the most pretentious bougie thing you own?

I recently bought 8 individual mini charcuterie boards for my annual Friendsgiving party in November. My friend was like, "those are so incredibly pretentious---I mean "charcuterie" first of all, but to then get individual boards for each person...."

Hmm... I'm not really a pretentious, bougie person and tend to like a lot of things people like that would turn their noses up to, so I'm really not sure. I'm sure some of my really old stuff might have been quite fancy in its day.

I guess the closest thing would be a few very high end pieces of horse tack I own. I used to be a hunter/jumper rider (possibly one of the most pretentious and "bougie" disciplines in the horse world, lol, but very fun), and have a few pieces of very high end tack in my collection that I happened to get for a steal, but is top of the line and retailed at very high prices (which I could've never afforded had I not purchased them secondhand or old stock at a steep discount). As a result of all of these great finds, as well as the less trendy but high quality stuff I own, I have become a huge snob when it comes to tack and leather quality, lol. Although I no longer ride, I keep it in case I ever return to it, because there's no way I could get anything that nice again for what I could reasonably afford.

I get the boards but how is charcuterie pretentious? That shit is god damn delicious, and if you do it right not even that expensive.

Well, there are a lot of people who require vitamin supplements for various reasons so not sure that can be pretentious. It's more like a high end $1,000 expresso machine or a golden toilet seat.
