Oh i am shocked. Dahlia Sky was my favorite one. Just realized that She committed suicide with a gunshot in her car because of breast cancer and depression. Very sad. Too many stories like her.

If these stories involve suicide, then it's quite simple. The industry is very draining physically, potentially mentally, for both men and women, and it gives little in return.

Well, it isn't really in porn industry. Men use viagra in order to be able to last that long, also, these are your co-workers, not beloved ones, which generally is difficult to step over in a long run.

DS was born into a single-parent home with an abusive, alcoholic mother, and was taken by CPS more than once. Her death wasn't a suicide, but an OD (alcohol and cocaine). She left porn in 2015, got arrested in 2017 for domestic violence against her boyfriend, came back to porn briefly in 2018 with clear signs of alcohol abuse (very puffy face), got married, got divorced, and was out on the streets when she OD'd. Yes, she'd also been attacked on Twitter for taking a topless picture in front of a George Floyd mural, and that could have contributed to her OD, but it doesn't seem like it was an outright suicide.

Porn almost certainly didn't help, but her life was on a bad trajectory long before and long after porn, and should not be remotely considered to be the cause of her death.
