I would volunteer, but to be honest, I would probably not survive. I would need to ramp up on those skills.

No they have a better chance of winning. I am good at fighting but bad at running around and survival and backstabby politics. So literally my only chance is to go right for the melee and take people out in the first couple minutes. But the chance of fatal injuries is high in that scenario even if you win, so that favors those pesky stealthy treeclimbers who want to wait you out and slit your throat while you sleep. So volunteering for me means a glorious suicide in a way it wouldn't for other people.
I mean killing half the gang myself and then sitting on a pile of supplies until everyone crawls back to the center to their doom doesn't sound half bad. But it would only work in the absence of professional players. If you got a bunch of random losers who wouldn't know which end of that sword is sharp. So, no. Not likely.

I would volunteer for one I'm the only one of my siblings who would stand a chance at surviving much less winning the hunger games given that I'm a trained fighter with experience in several weapons and a decent survivor with the mindset to match it when push comes to shove.

I'd be the best chance my sisters would definitely be the first ones to die.

Not a friend but sibling yes. I love my stisters so much, they are my best friends and I'd do anything for them if they really needed me too. I'm the youngest so I know my oldest stister would want to do it because she thinks I'm a baby and she's is very smart but I'm street smart and I know how to manipulate people into trusting me as horrible as it sounds and I'm a lot stronger mentally and physically. Plus as sad as it sounds my stisters life's matter more than mine in my eyes and I don't think my family would miss me as much. Yes they'd be sad if I died but it wouldn't be as great as a loss I feel personally.

If it's a sibling, YES! If it's a friend, sorry but not even my best friend because that's too far off the tree. I will be their number one fan and will root for their safe return but not go in their place. My friends are like family but they also have their own family and I would have mine to think about. Getting yourself in danger instead of being there for your family during rough times won't do anyone any good but your friend and their family. Do you think your family would be okay with that?

I would, not only because I am from a close family but because I like a challenge, I would probably volunteer even if I didn't have siblings or friends to take their place.
I am a natural problem solver and would enjoy the chance to put my skills to work...

That dumb. The whole point of the game is to be the last person standing. The other peoples existence is a threat to your life. I would kill as many as I can so I don't die and I can win the game. You do realise that if you don't win you will die. My life is not a joke

Obviously I’d just kill the people that come to recruit people from my neighborhood. Government officials would just keep showing up missing. What’s the difference. They’re recruiting you to kill people anyway. It might as well be them.

I would my siblings are way younger than me and can't do much and my best friend is weaker both in the mentally and body than me. I feel even if she did survive she wouldn't be able to work through what happened very well
