Depends on what it is and how serious or dangerous...
Other morning when was leaving early in morning for work and still dark (5am) and there was a car in the alley across the street from my house parked on the side of my neighbor's garage running with the lights on... It sat there for a long time... I had to leave though, so called other neighbor and told her to keep an eye out and she called the neighbor whose garage the car was by (I don't have that neighbor's #) But we all look out for one another in my neighborhood
