Debit, at least for now. Probably even when I start working, because the risk/reward ratio for credit is simply not worth it. Yeah you can get free trips to Hawaii with the credit points, and sure you can get a bank loan for a property, but if you fuck up, you're screwed. 36% interest is not worth it. I rather pay in cash for everything. Dave Ramsay is probably smiling at the thought of using cash lmao 🤣

Sure. I have excellent credit. Always pay my bills on time especially the types of bills that influence credit. I make larger than the minimum payments typically. I live at less then my means and do not have revolving debt. I do have physical and liquid assets. I think that’s probably 90% of the things that influence credit, but I’m always willing to learn more about personal finances.

This might sound crazy but I never opened any credit cards so I basically don't have a credit score. I don't need one.

That's good enough if you want a loan to buy a house.
Car... buy cash.
I learned... no matter my credit score (800)... they wanted to give me 5% interest rate.. screw them... so I just paid full after they wanted me to sign off the 5%... if it was 1%.. sure i'll lease it. and told them they wasted my 3 - 5 hrs. trying to buy a car.
