. I firmly believe it is up to us, although looking in the mirror with complete honesty can be quite painful, and taking responsibility, for everything you feel, is often hard to do.
Surely it is also our responsibility to ensure we are the people others would be happy to spend time with, and would like and respect. Not for their affection, but out of respect for them.
It is not enough to love ourselves, and not care about anybody else; we are not islands, and our actions do affect others.
Those thoughts brought to me this question; “Would you like you, if you met you?”
It depends on how depressed/moody/negative "I" am that day. I think if I was happier (which being tall would most likely have given me in life; among a ton of other things, like a wife and potential kids with her), then I'd be a lot more likeable.
Depending on my mood (and I am never happy; at most a 50% happy, which is "content"), I can be a real Debbie Downer. I've been working on being more cognizant of this, so I don't bring everyone down.
But with today's society being as messed up as it is, and my short-ass doomed to eternal singledom, it's HARD to find anything to be happy about. So I'm not.
So I think a happy me would be very likeable (although not dateable; since I'm still short/unattractive looking and all), but I'm never happy. Just annoyed at how retarded this Clown World is.
Everything is context. If I was me I probably wouldn't talk to me. I would probably just look at me and be all in my head about what the other me thought of me. And I would probably over analyze it.
Now if by some miracle I talked to me I would find out how warm and friendly I am. The last thing I would want to do is offend another person.
I’m an introvert, so when I’m not in the mood to talk to people who I’m not close to (which is often) no, I wouldn’t like me them. I’m not friendly, I’m not personable. I try to avoid people and get out of contact, and if I can’t I’m nice but keep it short. When I do feel like talking, I feel I am a very pleasant person to be around. I’m funny, kind, and people usually seem to like me, but like I said, I’m often not in that kind of mood.
I think so, would be really nice to meet myself. We'd talk about our dreams, plans, would have the same taste for songs... And then I could hug the version of myself saying that everything's gonna be okay and have a lot to see and live yet, so be happy!
I think so because even though I'm shy and quiet. I try to be nice and considerate to others making sure they feel comfortable and not awkward around me.
I like to think if I met me, we would end up being like twin sisters, except we'd think alike and act alike and could probably get into quite a bit of trouble together.
Yes I would love me, we would have endless conversations, comment on the books we like, cook together, bake together, clean together, run errands together etc. It'll be like having my twin🐟♓🐟
For me , I think it's a tricky question coz we tend to be different in infront of others than wen are alone soo if I met me , it will take some time 4 mi to like me just like my current friends. I took time liking themm
It would be my clone we would have the same thoughts all the time the same agreement. It would make one heck of a good workout partner that’s for sure especially sparring partner and wrestling partner.
