Why do people always try to give me a ride?

So whenever I go for a walk or I'm just going maybe a mile or two I always have a bunch of different people who stop and ask if I need a ride even if they going the complete opposite direction ( I have never said yes) typically offered by men or teenage girls every now and then an old woman/manBut if I'm walking with my cousin same thing I'm offered a ride but not him and when I say no they mean mug him and ask if I'm sure like what the hellMy cousin doesn't look scary and we are about the same size so it's not like I'm in danger He asked why people always offer me a lift and I just shook my head and said I dont know maybe I look homely or lost or something. People pick and choose, most really do care. I’m not sure why you specifically. Please, be careful though. Pack some sort of protection.

I have more than one motorcycle. One of them is a 400cc scooter. I often take that out shopping, and will shoot up a local twisting canyon or two beforehand.
I’ll park and cool the engine off for twenty min somewhere pretty. Only once was I asked if I was ok and it was highway patrol.

Whenever I stop and cool my cruiser motorcycle engine I have men falling all over themselves asking if I need a ride or help.
One (who was in a team of pro cyclists) said he lived just up the road and I could borrow his car, his teammates gave him hard and crazy looks. lol My bike shop guy was on the phone with me and heard this. He had been telling me I’d have to wait for his driver to come back from lunch, but then said he would come himself. He drove the 26 min in 11. ‘He has a daughter’, he told me when I pointed this out. Good man.

People are interesting creatures.

Oh I have a knife on my ankle one on my arm and one on my hip.
I've also never said yes I have a thing about strang people in cars considering someone has attempted to kidnap me twice

I saw that was something people do in the US, it's not really that common in England, in fact I would say if you find some random person just offering to give you a ride and get you in there car, do NOT get in the car 0_0 get a taxi or call friends to pick you up.

But in the US it is large enough that I suppose that anyone who sees someone walking as they drive past, they may think it could take a long time for that person to walk to where they need to get to and so any driver might offer a ride, as for why they don't offer your cousin? maybe it has to do with the number of passengers? Perhaps it would be cramped with two more, or maybe they are actually afraid of the person, or maybe if they were trying to make a move on you they got irritated that they got blocked by a second guy, who knows. I don't know your cousin so I have no views on him, I hope you both get along well :)
