I just love your questions.
Well, as we know extremely high probabilities are truths. ok? scientists forbid to think that way. we do.

And nah im not sponsored but I wish I was. I just really like the quality of photos the different artists take. And I like to link back to it (in case anyone wants to see more) while shouting out the photographer (for possibly more recognition).
That and I'd feel like crap if I didn't link the original 🤣

+1 yStrictily speaking the sound is not light. Nor is it magnetism or electromagnetic waves.
You are hearing vibrations in the air due to a diphragm moving (speaker) in the radio.
Now that isn't to say that the sound was not light or electromagnetic radiation because it was from the Transmitter tower to the receiver Radio. The sound is turned into different electromagnetic frequencies usually in the MHz (Megahertz range) using either Frequency modulation or Amplitude modulation.
To be visible light, the electromahpgnetic radiation would have to be in the frequency range of around 430 - 790 TeraHertz, which is considerably higher than the frequencies that radio is transmitted at.
However light is indeed electromagnetic radiation, so radio waves and light are based on the same scientific principles.15 Reply

I am not a big fan of slasher movies. However, The movie Psycho was based on a true person.
Ed Gein - Movies, Crimes & Murderer - Biography
Another one I actually heard from one of the people that worked the crime. Is the movie Candyman. This movie is based on fact!
In 1987 the Chicago Reader published a story about Ruth McCoy, a woman living in a Chicago housing project, who made a frantic call to 911 insisting she was being attacked in her apartment. Responders eventually found her dead of gunshot wounds. Investigators determined that her assailants had gained access to her unit by breaking through the connecting wall in the adjoining apartment and climbing in through her medicine cabinet. The complex was built that way intentionally so that plumbers investigating leaks could simply remove the cabinet to check the pipes. It became a frequent mode of entry for burglars—and in McCoy’s case, her killers.20 ReplyEvery single planet in the solar system can fit between the distance of the Earth and the Moon, with extra space to spare.

I used to think the fact it took Buzz Aldrin three days to get to the moon had to be false. I was wrong. 11 Reply- +1 y
You got to wonder how it even stays in orbit. How the moon, which is only as big as the US, looks so big in the sky being so far away. And that being that far away it produces a perfect eclipse of the sun.
What is VERY false is when they say that men and women can't be friends. I have had a group on friends of men AND women for over a decade. And we are all friends with one another. So men and women CAN be friends 💯%

No believe me, when I first saw her, I didn't have the courage, I just admired her from afar. But we both were in the same group and they were throwing a BBQ. We didn't know each other and thought she would be stuck up. But weeks later after constant hanging around each other she started talking to me. And from there it was a natural flow of a new friendship... with the group of course
Asker+1 ySadly now it would be easy for me to do such things. But I have no interest anymore. I've got bad timing

Radio waves are not light. Radio is electrons at a varying frequency.
Asker+1 yScientists be sayin they're light tho since they exist on the electromagnetic spectrum 👄
- +1 y
@dudeinohio Radio is actually magnetic radiation. When you pass a wire through a magnetic field you produce an EMF in that wire. When you pass current through a wire you generate magnetic radiation. When you look at the top of a radio tower you see a large item at the top. This is a coil where the electrical current is run through. This creates a wave that can travel many miles. When it hits your radio that wave causes current to pass through the tuning circuit that gets amplified and you can hear the radio.

Fold a piece of paper 45 times for it to be thick enough to reach the moon
13 Reply- +1 y
45 times? You have to be joking. You are missing some zeros.
- +1 y
Mathematically the doubling of the thickness with each fold might do the trick. The problem is that the biggest sheet of paper we can reasonably get can only be folded nine times- absolute max under perfect circumstances, thin paper, rollers to smash down each fold, etc.
Another anecdote depending upon the "doubling" concept is a story of a king whose life was saved by a serf. The king asked what the serf wanted, and- knowing that the king loved playing chess- he said only 1 grain of wheat for the first square (64 on a board), 2 grains for the second, 4 grains for the third, 8 for the fourth, etc. By the time you get to 2^64th, that is more than the annual production of all wheat on the planet! - +1 y
@Massageman But she didn't say double each. It is interesting though.
