Robin Williams killed himself, which in my book means he wanted to die. I wouldn't bring him back because that would be rude. It's not up to me whether or not Robin Williams is alive, and if he chose to be dead, I'm not going to naysay and insist he be alive. I imagine he would be pissed and then have to go to the pain and misery of living and then the trouble to kill himself again, so it would be pointless.

Carrie Fischer on the other hand, I googled it and looks like she had a heart attack or something, so sure, we can assume she would be delighted to live a bit more, so let's bring her back! She would probably get a kick out of where Star Wars has kept going with all the new shows and sequels, and maybe she would even want to do another movie!
I agree with the beginning of this. And you are right when you said it would be rude. But if we are bringing morals into this question, I would say don't bring anyone back from the dead regardless of how they passed.
And I have less then zero facts, stats, or word of mouth on this next thing I'm going to say because it's not even a possiblity to find this out but... I think some people are set in the fact they are over life and you can't talk them out of it. They just have had enough. But I think some people figure it out as they leave this world that they fucked up. Maybe that whole life flashing before you die or something. I think as they realize they are at the point of no return that moment they realize they want to return and work some stuff out. But once again, I have nothing to back any of that. My best friend shot himself and maybe that's the way I made sense of it or maybe I just tell myself that to sleep better at night. I don't know but I feel like that's how he went out.
Oh, also Carrie Fischer wasn't loving life towards the end. I know she was molested or raped or something when she was younger and battled drug addictions all through out her adulthood. She was pretty fucked towards her final years. I think it surprised a lot of people (including myself) when we found out her death wasn't suicide.
@KennethNoisewater I had a close buddy also shoot himself and I was pissed at him at first, but then I thought you know if he was miserable so often maybe it's better this way. You're right, some people may want a second chance given more time to think about it, that's why we try to prevent people from committing suicide. I've had suicidal thoughts, and if I had access to a gun at the wrong moment, then I wouldn't be here now, and I'm enjoying life quite a lot. Though in my perspective, it doesn't matter that much if I had committed suicide, or if I die tomorrow; it is what it is, and I've had a good time so far.
As for "don't bring anyone back" I agree, even with the Carrie Fisher I was just going along with the question, but she had her time, then she died naturally. Who's to say she wouldn't die again soon after with a heart problem she still had? I was just playing along.
Oh yeah, I didn't mean to come off rude or anything in that. I'm sorry if I did. That wasn't my intention in even the slightest. It's definitely a goofy question and it's a question that really doesn't have a wrong answer. Like I said I agreed with most all of your answer and I don't think anyone answered wrong. Doesn't even matter what they said. Sorry if I came off like a dick.
@KennethNoisewater no, I didn't get dick vibes at all, no worries. I don't know much about Carrie Fischer, I had to google her to make sure she wasn't a suicide as well.
The Star Wars Kid huh? I bet I know which of the two you'd bring back.
I'll go with Robin William. Fisher hadn't really done anything in a long time. Her acting days seemed pretty much over. Disney ruined Star Wars so I have no Star Wars longing to fulfill, I haven't watched Solo, The Rise of Skywalker, The Mandalorian, or anything else. The Force Awakens and The Last Jedi ruined the franchise and I'll never see another one. I hate Disney. I hate they bough Marvel and that they get paid for all of the brilliant stuff the Marvel team puts out.
Williams acting career was full of so many brilliant performances and he still had a lot left that I'd still want to see. Good Will Hunting was my favorite of all of his roles. I could watch that scene of him talking to Will on the bench over and over "Your move Chief." (One Hour Photo was pretty freaky).
Would either person still have the last incarnation of their soul? Everyone deserves an encore for various reasons... However, matters of life or death should be left up to The Almighty.
I would choose Robbie.

While, nominally, I would say Robin Williams because he was a genius and his contributions were much more significant than Carrie Fisher's, Robin Williams killed himself for good reason: He had Lewy Body Dementia.
Carrie Fisher's body, sadly, was a train wreck, but she was still with it. And, a day after her death, her famous mother Debbie Reynolds died as a result. So, if Carrie hadn't died, Debbie would have still been with us too.
Thus, I vote for Carrie.
I thought Robin Williams had depression and drug abuse, which are believed to be the leading contributors to his suicide
@artstatues He already had the symptoms of his illness although he may not have understood why.

The terrorist inside my husband's brain
Susan Schneider Williams
First published September 26, 2016
As you may know, my husband Robin Williams had the little-known but deadly Lewy body disease (LBD). He died from suicide in 2014 at the end of an intense, confusing, and relatively swift persecution at the hand of this disease's symptoms and pathology.
...
Robin was losing his mind and he was aware of it. Can you imagine the pain he felt as he experienced himself disintegrating? And not from something he would ever know the name of, or understand? Neither he, nor anyone could stop it—no amount of intelligence or love could hold it back.

Oops, sorry, I pasted that twice.
I think I might have skipped a part.
You can read the article yourself.

Comedian Robin Williams' Struggle with Undiagnosed Dementia is Focus of Documentary
By Greg Jicha and Sally Scherer March 29, 2021
...
Williams was called a “bold” comedian with a “kind and gentle spirit” before his death in 2014. He was 63 years old.
Now, a movie reveals the true story about his death. A 45-minute documentary “SPARK: Robin Williams and his Battle with Lewy Body Dementia (LBD),” tracks the final years of his life and his battle with undiagnosed Lewy Body Dementia.
Susan Schneider Williams, the widow of the late comic, has called LBD, “the terrorist inside my husband’s mind.”
A progressive dementia, LBD is the second most common form of progressive dementia after Alzheimer’s. The disease occurs when excess deposits of the protein alpha-synuclein, known as Lewy bodies, clump up inside neurons, causing damage to certain parts of the brain, and, as a result, a decline in cognition and movement.
LBD is an umbrella term for two related diagnoses: Dementia with Lewy bodies (DLB) and Parkinson’s disease dementia. The early warning signs of both forms are important: DLB takes place when people develop cognitive issues, including memory loss, while those with Parkinson’s disease dementia initially develop movement issues such as muscle stiffness, gait and tremors.
Over time, the symptoms become more and more similar. Other LBD symptoms include depression, anxiety, sleep disorder, insomnia and hallucinations.

Robin Williams committed suicide and Carrie Fisher killed herself with dope. I would bring this guy back instead.

The Stooges were never the same without the original.
I hate you for making me choose, but I am going with Robin Williams on the contingency that he is placed under care and treated for his mental illness and dementia.
Carrie Fisher died of a heart condition that could not be managed. Robin Williams could have been saved
I’d be careful of unintended consequences after watching this:
https://www.youtube.com/embed/xbKSQ0saOokOh God, that's a tough one.
I love you Carrie Fisher, but Robbin Williams had the saddest fate of any famous person, so I'd pick him.
Robin Williams chose to leave this world. Sounds inappropriate to drag him back into it.
That was my thought as well. Bring him back why? So you can watch him kill himself again?
Robin Williams was sick. If you could bring him back in someone else's body he'd probably be fine.
@EnglishEuropean Would you want to be brought back in someone else's body?
I wouldn't want to be brought back at all.
@EnglishEuropean if we brought you back in someone else's body, with someone else's personality, you probably wouldn't mind.
@zeitgeist057 Makes you feel bad for the owner of the other body though.
Robin Williams was more deserving of it and died younger.
Robin Williams killed himself so I would bring back Carrie fisher since her death was involuntary

Robin Williams
Carrie Fisher is awesome, and Robin Williams is one of the greatest ever!
However I wouldn’t want to bring either back. I’ll just wait until I meet both in Heaven. ❤️
I doubt if either of them made it. I am pretty sure Williams didn't believe.
@888theGreat Well, we can always hope.
Depends, if I get her back, can I bang prime Carrie? If not, then Robin Williams.
Nope. But you can bang the Carrie that gets dug up after however many years.
Robin then
Robin Williams, We could do with his comedy at the moment.
Robin Williams! Carrie Fisher has been written out of star wars. There's no need for her to come back. Robin Williams had a much much larger body of work.
why these two when there are thousands of others
?
That's a no brainer. Robin Williams 110%
Carrie Fisher. Can you arrange it?
Chester Bennington!!!
Chester and Robin and Heath Ledger.
I actually felt (so to speak) their absence.
They're the only celebrities that I actually miss.
And I hate the suicide part.
That chester and robin couldn't handle what they felt they carried.
Carrie died of natural causes? She deserves to come back.
The others chose to leave (not heath).
I agree with @dustybiker
This question is fucked up.
Robbin Williams... take another Bow
robbin williams.
Robin, we could all use a good laugh.
I’d let them be dead
Robbin Williams.
Carrie Fisher.
