Is it a good idea to keep a personal diary for yourself while in a marriage?

I never kept a diary in my life because I’m very comfortable expressing how I feel in front of my family but I doubt I will feel comfortable doing the same thing If I have a husband that’s why I’m planning to keep a personal diary for myself with a difficult to guess password and hide it somewhere where he will never find it. Whenever I’m hiding my feelings or something else to avoid meaningless conflicts I will write it all down in that diary as I don’t want to have to deal with conflicts in a marriage. Life will be easier that way

No, you cannot eliminate conflict by hiding it. Sooner of later it will blow up in your face. Being married is hard work and part of it is working on conflicts. How well you deal with disagreements will determine how happy your marriage will be,

I get that, but hiding something is never 100% reliable, especially when living in the same house as someone.
