How do you spend your birthday?

We USED to have a bunch of family over for the day and a pool party and cook out in the back yard and it'd run all day `til about 1:00 a. m.. We'd play Kill all afternoon and again all evening. If dad's siblings were in town, we'd play penny ante poker all evening. Of course, there was also cake, ice cream and presents. These days, now that everyone's dead, it's just another day of the year, to me! Same with Christmas except that I still TRY to put a tree and decorations up and watch my five fave Christmas movies. If I can afford it, I'll buy myself a fairly expensive present that I'd like but no one else would ever give me. (A set of Electronic drums, one of the 5 basses I've always liked (Only two left to get! A Rick and a Stick!), a big bunch of records, whatever strikes my fancy. Most often, I'll take a trip about 30 or 25 miles to Vincent's Pizza.

The same as all the other days. Special (all days which indicate some action we should take) days are more or less days of obligation. People contact you that wouldn't otherwise, your meant ti believe you have to "do something", have a party, people should treat you nicer or nothing is supposed to go wrong, disappointment when these things dont happen... Holidays and such are highly retail driven, but also to make it easier to control the masses with other situations when they arise... Putting is with mindset of everyone else is doing it, I have to as well... Look at how much something like Christmas creates a time of greed, envy, hard reality of class division, debt, stress, waste money, wasted resources. But hey its tradition right...

During the day I’ll do a fun activity/ bday brunch/ shopping with friends and boyfriend ( when I’ve had one) .
in the evening, My sister makes cakes so she usually will make me a really pretty cake whatever theme I want, and my family decorates and we all eat cake and I open presents. We then order pizza and wings for dinner or some take out from my fave Chinese restaurant and we all play drinking games or do karaoke or dance and stuff 🥰❤️ Can’t wait for this years bday 💖

Thank you for saying that are asking this question every year it's the same for me all the sudden I'll be reminded it's my birthday coming up and I'll think about it for a day or two and then when it's time when it's my birthday I forget all about it until somebody else brings it up there's been two or three days it will go by and I'll say oh my God I just had a birthday it's just like any other day to me really if I do remember when it is I might build myself a cake just so I have a reason to make one and eat one LOL

if I am lucky... I ignore it completely and everyone else ignores it, or keeps the celebration short, ideally they just mention it... lmao

I just never liked to celebrate birthdays, lol... and everyone close to me knows this, most of them will ignore it but there's STILL a few rebels who like to take that time to take me out somewhere and remind me of it

I actually I just went out a couple of days ago with some friends, because of it... lol, and it's nice to hang out with the gang... lol, we don't make it about me so that's great...

Well! 5 weeks ago, i went out with my friends to Stockholm. We had some nice dinner at a Japanese restaurant, them gamed from 10 pm to 7 am 😁. It was fun.
