Suppose the phones and internet all went down for whatever reason leaving you with no contact with the outside world around you what would you do? And suppose it all happened during a crises of some sort and you have no communication at all. How could you solve such a problem before it arose?
If you are 35-ish and older you remember what it was like before the internet and mobile phones. Easy enough to click back into that mode and find resources.
I’ve lived through a major earthquake. Where all the local bridges into town were down for what they said would be six months. Turned out to only be six weeks (amazing workers) they fixed them to functional and then took their time rebuilding them to be better suited for future quakes.
Half the town didn't have water for three weeks. The other half offered up their showers, as did hotels during the day.
People in my street pulled their tv’s out onto their driveways so they would use generators and show the neighborhood the news. These days they all have solar panels.
Food and drinking water was an issue as they told us not to drink the water, it was unsafe for a while.
Phones were down. Some people have mobile phones but the towers were jammed. Service wasn’t great then.
What else.. I’m forgetting a few things.

We have ham radios we would be able to use.
Pretty much the same stuff I'm doing now. I haven't had a phone for about a month or two and, without the internet, I'd just work more on getting my various recordings and writing projects done.
All you have to do is go outside and talk to people. This isn't a real situation. You've lived in a bubble too long bubble boy.

That would be nirvana! Turn off the monitor and computer. Brew a fresh cup of coffee. Fire in the fireplace. Read a book.
Eat people.
