I think the cat. It's the least aggressive and confrontational with humans that I can think of. Rabbits are very very rebellious and dogs can kill if you don't train them properly.

They would be able to tell us when they are hungry or in pain although you can normally tell anyways, but you could tell what they think about you and other animals.
