It depends in which city you want to spend this money.

If you intend to spend it in London city, in some of the more popular areas and those where wealthy people reside, then £2.0 million will just buy you a few square feet, enough to put a bed, a bathroom, a kitchenette and a mini living room.

If on the other hand you live in the Yorkshire Dales or in some remote area of Scotland, then that kind of money will take you a long way.

Anyway, I certainly would not recommend you buy property in the greater London suburbs because you are basically just wasting money. Move out, at least 100 miles North of London and that kind of cash will allow you to live like a prince.

wow you're a real newbie in real estate aren't you. first it depends on where the home is located which part of the city or town or county, second the square footage, third the age of the home, forth the condition of the home how much work was put into it and how much needs to be done and renovated and how much repairs need to be done. fifth if there's any back taxes owed on the property or if it's been in foreclosure or has any type of liens on it, sixth how big of a lot it is what size acre the land around the home is, seven if it comes with a garage attached or unattached, eight with this fucked up real estate market how much the competing offers on the home is and homes in the area are going for that are the same size as that particular one, nine if there are any hoa or poa and how much the hoa/poa are each month

i know my girlfriend has a home about that size a farmhouse about 6000 sq ft and she bought it for 7 million after all hell happened with her previous home when some of her security started living in there with their girlfriends and houses around the area were being broken into and some people tried breaking into her home when she was in the hospital a few years ago.
