I’m asking as I live in a studio in owenrs backyard. I’m 25 but I now have desire for new year move into an apartment or duplex. Or studio inside an apartment complex. Landlord isn’t there all day, you aren’t passing by her pool or backyard and sliding glass door everyday. You have privacy and just pay rent , even can have a baby. I have no kitchen and no windows. It’s stressful see her family daily outside often & i try leave when no one is outside. It’s not like they will smile wave hi. No they will be uncomfortable & stare at you like an alien. then gossip who is that girl? I don't know if I’m outgrowing studios or I’m just getting older.

For the most part, yes. It just sounds like your living situation sucks and your landlady is snooping a lot. I live in a huge apartment complex with like 5,000 other people. It is cheap and has low priced utilities, but the unit is small by Western standards though.

I do, that bitch knows not to get on my bad side as I'm one of the few decent, direct deposit paying tenants she has.

Yea I realized today studios suck 😞 I want a duplex or studio in an apartment complex. Landlord would live elsewhere or it’ll be more private. I even have a headache. passing by her patio her window, her dogs r outside, awkwardly pass by her relatives visiting and they are serious don’t smile at me.

Total privacy, the landlord is a big company and they just give you the apartment and that's it. I only see my neighbors in the hallway.
Oh and here landlord do not keep a key to your apartment

Is it wrong for me to feel tired of owner? Tired of passing by her backyard, her windows, or seeing her in front of the house or leaving in her car? Or seeing her family? I feel weird like tired & want an apartment.

I’ve been over studios recently. Have bug desire have apartment. In an apartment u aren’t passing by owners yard or her window or see her family 24/7? U open door go down stairs to your car that’s it.

No, it was a pretty normal big apartment building. We lived on the fifth floor of a five floor building.

Yes to privacy. Except for the initial handover 3 years ago, The landlord visited 3 to 4 times. A few months I did recieve a phone call from him, where he had to raise the rent due to economic conditions. I expected that call though.
