Anyone try them yet?
M&Ms candy has gone woke. Can you believe they are selling WOKE M&Ms for women in a lavender colored package?
Anyone try them yet?
Several years ago, I was forcibly drawn into a conversation on the subject of razors. As a man with a full-on lumberjack beard, I'm as far from an expert as you can get, which is why I didn't call out the obvious nonsense sooner: the problem, I was told, was that women's razors were more expensive than men's, and that this was an obvious example of discrimination against women.
I, logically, asked whether there were practical differences in design and construction: women are mostly using razors to shave their legs, instead of their faces- a much less sensitive area, with potentially different hair density; did that call for a difference in engineering to justify the price? No, I was told- it was just the color and the packaging. Well, then, legs are also a much larger area, with different curvature than a face will have; does that affect the shape of the blade, perhaps the size as well, necessitating different production standards that would call for a higher price? No, I was told- the only difference was the color and packaging.
"Well then," I said, "that's obviously not discrimination against women- just against stupid people". I was asked how I could dare to claim that women were stupid (which I hadn't), and replied "If the only difference is the color and packaging, nothing's stopping you from using the men's razors; only your stupidity and devotion to your sense of victimhood is costing your more.". Needless to say, things degenerated from there.
But women's razors are STILL more expensive than men's, and I still hear the occasional gripe about how it's "sexist". Victimhood becoming a social virtue will be the doom of our society, and you can watch it happen in slow motion. I think of the women of the past, and the hardships they endured- plagues, famines, wars, wild animal attacks, crushing poverty- and I wince at the thought of what they must think of their daughters. Even the old Feminists- I'm no friend of that movement, and maintain that there's nothing horrific about it today that isn't present in the Seneca Falls declaration, differing only by degree, but those women had guts. They actually got off their butts and DID something; I can respect their courage, dedication, and drive, if not their bigotry, self-righteousness, or dishonesty.
Well, to answer your title question- yes. Yes, I have no trouble believing this whatsoever.
@NamerOfStars Just so you know, I have been using the blue Gillette razor blades since they started selling them. In fact, I did try the pink packaged razors and they cut my legs all up and bled all over the place. So, one try sent me back to the men's Gillette razor blades. Oh, and most women, such as myself, not only shave their legs, but under each arm (the pits) and around the bikini line. 🙃
They do whatever gets customers. It's just PR, they don't actually care.
I just heard of this when you mentioned it. Green and brown represent lesbians. If you noticed, the purple one is larger. That represents accepting a larger body size.
The upside down thing represents women who switched teams. I think the whole thing is beyond stupid. They say they are supporting women, but they're full of shit. The only thing they're supporting is their bank account. I doubt this will help, but will figure that out later.
No, where are you seeing that green and brown are lesbians? Purple is bigger because purple is a peanut m&m while the other two are not.
@Ghostykill3r
Where did I see that? lol
Whatever you do, don't actually Google it for yourself.
Thanks for the MHO. I was in a gas station yesterday, and I noticed a purple bag of M & Ms. I checked, but they weren't this kind. My guess is that they're going to pull the plug on this idea. I knew the clerk at the store, and I told him about this nonsense. He could hardly believe it. I told him I don't care what people did with their lives, but can we just not put it on candy wrappers? Why not put it on the side of busses.
Oooooooooh my. Propaganda at its best. Even food has to obey🤦♀️

I'll give you some M&M's if you come over to my house. Give you some M&M's if you come inside my house! Give you some M&M's if you come into my bedroom! Give you some M&M's if you take off your clothes... Well ya know the rest!
I guess they're going to be going out of business, soon! Go woke, go broke!! I haven't had any in about 10 years! They're so insanely expensive!!
Why’s it always the 50+ year olds rambling on about woke agendas lol it’s candy, when I shake those m&m’s into my hand that’s all I care about.
I’m just annoyed that they keep slipping Ws in my bag.
Damn, first I had to switch from Coke to Pepsi. Now I have to give up M&Ms. What next? Quarter Pounders?
Welp
I don’t like chocolate, anyways. 😂
My pancreas has hindered me from exploring the political joys of chocolate.
This is the first I have heard of it. Possibly it's a U S thing? LOL
Sign of the times. By the way, the women are upside down so you turn the package upside down to make m&m appear like w&w.
What are you talking about?
@Ghostykill3r M&Ms are packets of little chocolate coated pieces of chocolate candy. M&Ms are very popular in America.
I know what m&ms are. I don't know what them having a woman on the package has to do with them being "woke"
They are being offered in packages with only the female "spokescandy" pieces on them and in packs that contain only the colors of the female "spokescandy". Further, they are being marketed as w&w rather than m&m.
Oh, so it's not "woke" just a marketing tactic showing they support women.
No it isn't. It literally says "flipping the status quo"
Women working/succeeding in areas where women typically do not. You can literally look at the press release about it and that's what it says.
@Revvl6pro Holy shit. THAT'S what the asker is upset about?
I can hardly think of a less offensive statement than "supporting women". This is the kind of advertising an actual "woke" person would consider to be gutless pandering.
"Gone woke". Fucking ridiculous.
@Subglacial
Green and brown are to support lesbians. What color did they choose to represent straight women?
Get back to me on that. Surely the woke people support everyone, right?
@Revvl6pro Purple, the color of royalty, to represent women lording over men in this inverted world.
The upside-down M's? www, as in world-wide web, showing their domination over the internet.
The fact that the brown M&M has glasses represents the vision BLM has for America, and the fact that it's a bag of peanut butter candy is a clear reference to George Washington Carver.
The broken M&M? The Kennedy assassination, obviously.
It's all connected. Follow the bloodlines. Open your third eye. Eat fresh.
@Subglacial
You sound disturbed.
@Revvl6pro Profoundly so.
