10 percent of my DNA comes from a combination of England and Ireland. 76% comes from Germany. I never pinch anyone that doesn’t wear green and I sometimes wear green but I mostly forget.
What is your vote in the poll? (I think you didn’t vote yet.)
Just voted A. I was gonna vote earlier and then got distracted.
Ok, np
Thanks for MHO
You’re welcome
I'm of Irish descent, but I don't consider myself Irish because I'm American. I wore green today
Did you vote yet?
If not, you should vote D (because A & B are true for you).
None of that is true for me although perhaps there is some Irish in me but I have enough doubt to have selected F. :)
No one on either side of your family has ever said that they/you have Irish ancestry?
Ok. You should take a DNA test from one of the ancestry sites and find out for sure.
According to my Ancestry results, I'm 7% irish.
Was that % higher or lower than expected?
And did you vote “A” in the poll?
As they've refined the analysis, it's gotten much lower. When I first sent in my DNA it said I was 1/3 Irish. Now I'm 40% sottish.
Ok. Which ancestry does your family most acknowledge—Irish or Scottish?
And is that your A vote out there?
yeah, i voted... get off my back, lol. We would claim Irish on my father's side, German on my mother's.
Ok thanks, haha.
Irish—ok.

No to all lol. I LOVE the holiday but I am just too busy in my adult life right now and I don't unfortunately have friends to celebrate with at the bars sadly haha. Whatever.
Some people celebrate it just by wearing green (like to work).
I'm not an Irish national but have a strong Irish heritage, I don't celebrate St Patrick's day at all,,,
If you have a “strong Irish heritage” then why don’t you celebrate it at all?
My ancestors left Ireland during the potato famine
Ok. Which answer-option letter did you select in the poll?
Why didn’t you wear green panties or a green bra?
😉😊
In addition to the above…
2 answer-options are true for you—A & B, so Why didn’t you select D?
Cool. Do you wear matching top-and-(little) skirt “dancer-wear” outfits (that you can buy at Adult Shops) at the club?
And why didn’t you vote D in the poll?
There’s no way to change it and that’s ok.
But didn’t you see the Note I have on this question?
Nice.
So — Do you wear matching top-and-(little) skirt “dancer-wear” outfits (that you can buy at Adult Shops) at the club?
We are all honorary Irish on St Paddy's Day. 👨🌾
Yeah, St Patrick’s day is famous for others “identifying” & “cultural appropriation.” Lol
How did you vote in the poll?
I didn't vote... none of them apply to me. And F doesn't take into account my honorary Irish.
Sounds like you’re “afraid” of registering your votes in the polls; either that or you have OCD. Lol
I'm not OCD and I always vote in polls if one of the options applies to me. In this case, none do.
by the way, if you find any one of the polls that I post, you'll almost always see a "Something else" choice that allows someone to explain something that doesn't fit the other choices.
Answer -option F applies to you in this poll.
And I I didn’t want to put an “Other” answer-option on MY question.
I guess you just like to have things YOUR way; otherwise you’re “not playing.” Lol
I never heard of this pinching rule.
No? I had thought the wearing green thing was only for those who are Irish/have Irish ancestry.
I'm Irish on both sides.
Cool. Do you like “Guinness”?
A&W.
That’s great too!
Especially on ice cream!
No but I will drink Irish Whisky. Slainte!
Thanks. “Health” to you too.
A “[“right-click”] “Look Up” on that word said “health,” however the following source…
www.irishcentral.com/roots/what-does-slainte-mean
…says the word is “Ireland's most famous toast [and translates] to 'Good Health' in English.”
So: a slight difference, but still a toast word.
