But who do you think is more deserving of going too Grammar Hell?

Actually, the posting guideline for grammar is:
"Grammar – If your post has so many abbreviations or spelling/grammar mistakes it will be removed. Also, please remember to post only in English. Questions, myTakes, and Opinions in other languages will be removed. However, Opinion Replies in other languages are allowed."
Grammar is a sin only if it is atrocious. The posts I hide for this violation are always those in languages other than English.
Grammatical errors make me cringe. I can understand typos. I make those, myself, if I don't reread and edit before posting.
But it's embarrassing when a native English speaker obviously doesn't understand grammar and punctuation.
Ghetto speak is also an indication of ignorance. High school grads who read at a grade school level.
I never correct people on-line, though. That's just a form of aggression. And I have to consider the possibility that English isn't everyone's first language. If they are from another country and speak/write passable English, I give them huge credit. I have great respect for multilingual people.
I just don’t like when people start arguments over the internet and don’t use they’re, their, and there correctly. Or your and you’re.
I'm a grammar and spelling nazi, so I'll just keep my mouth shut here.

Those illiterate people are in their own Hell. They find it difficult to communicate. They struggle to express their thoughts and ideas clearly. Their words are jumbled and unclear. In addition, the shame and embarrassment they feel leads to brazen acts such as referring to "Acts of Northern Aggression" as "the Civil War" out of pure laziness. It leads them to adopt the undisciplined speech of the woke culture in an attempt to appear socially acceptable. It causes terrorists to run free in our country, who can choose their leaders simply by identifying their face on a screen.
The education system in this country is the worst, forget the grammar, most hicks in the boonies think the USA is a country in Europe, I'm serious. However, the education system gets better as you move upward, by the time you hit the masters level its really world class. Also the elite class are pretty able, but the masses are really challenged, sometimes it's hard to follow them.
Hey wait a minute, Purple! You just said "theirs no excuse" ! That is a 'fatal error"!
You should have said: "there's no excuse"' OR "there IS no excuse". But then I just committed a 'grammatical sin" by pointing that out!
God NEVER grammar and I know SHE hates (except/effect/affect)
One of my most hated grammar sins is "I SEEN" !!! ARGGHHH I hate that !!!
@Red_Arrow Well, of course but she always that. "Peoples/People's another example.
What annoys me most is forgetting to signal the end of a sentence with a full stop. It gets to the point where a question is incomprehensible. I don't care about spelling errors. I have mostly given up on commas too.
But I do care about full stops. Ok that is syntax not grammar per se but lets try for full stops first before the more complicated stuff.
The worst sins to me are those of the ''grammar nazi's'' who insist that creativity of expressing oneself must match a certain way.
I strongly oppose anything of this direction - although I can appreciate some good... ''order'' in language.
However - since Microsoft had been allowed to ''autocorrect'' a perversion of English spelling, and since rap noise (accidentally called: music) is tolerated... the question of 'good grammar' has become a relative one.
Afterthought... ''Yoh! Wassupp''
Since the internet has become a household thing.. I find peoples grammar and vocabulary skills have diminished substantially. I wouldn't report anyone.. but how I fear for the children who don't know the difference between ( where, wear) or ( your, you're)
I can't stand Spelling Nazis. Like I wouldn't have spelling problems in the first place, if you guys hadn't fucked up the original English language.
But I can't stand people who use the wrong "their" "they're", "to" "too" etc, or who write the wrong fucking gender on porn title's, like "Watch her lick his pussy" WTF? I'm looking at YOU, INDIANS😂
Grammar is an issue on here. I think a lot it is English is a second language to people from other countries, so things don't translate well.
I figure they are doing the best they can and likely a lot better than I could in their primary language.
Pointing out grammar. Yes, I've done it before. I'm guilty. And although education should do better with grammar and as humans with language we should do better, we shouldn't go around pointing it out.
My very first question on here: They're, there, their, is it really so hard?
" My girlfriend and me "
" I want to go two "
" y'all "
Detail is important , and grammar is vital.
- then/than
- it‘s/its
- there/their/they‘re
- plural apostrophes
- of instead of have
- the superfluous LIKE 🤬
Their are many grammatical errs that effect who's posts get removed. This may be one of them. :-)
Despite whatever we say or vote, a little benefit of doubt needs to given due to the amount of errors caused by either autocorrect or the hell of typing on cell phones and touchpads. Few people understand the pain of having a thumb that covers 2 1/2 keys no matter how you try.
Many Èarþlings make groß grammatickal errors, but ðey need to lèarn ðat as well. Ðey must also remember ðat ye dated sentence structures ain’t åll arxaick.
I'd say not being able to construct a coherent sentence. The calling out other peoples bad grammar while also using bad grammar is honestly just hilarious.
Redundant apostrophe's really grind my gears.
Yeah, I know.
I don't understand why this occurs; we don't need to be formal, but it adds class to the conversation. It also creates good habits that translate to work, and conversing in person.
My grammar is always correct unless my spell check wants to F me over.
People who can't constuct a coherent sentence. Including those that do not use punctuation.
