When a cat really trusts you, they tend to love cuddling and being gathered around you. I noticed that whether I'm eating in the garden, in the house, reading a book anywhere in or out the house, or just on or in bed, my two cats very often come discretely closer very near me. When I watch TV, nearly always one sits very near me on the bed, and the other wants to be on my lap... I guess that this behaviour is linked to their past life as puppies.

Cats love to cuddle up with you. Every night when I'm on the couch watching tv I'll have my dog and at least 2 of my cats by me. My dog will lay between me and the back of the couch. One cat will lay on my chest and the other between my legs. They will stay there for hours if I don't get up

Beautiful. Not too clingy. Just give your cat a good rubbing. They all like that. Some drool when you do it right. Some like just a couple fingers rubbing them but most do like the whole hand. Which does yours prefer?
