Has your behavior changed towards the opposite sex due to a bad experience?

Mine has, to a certain extent. Long story short, when I was in 11th grade, I had a huge crush on the popular boy. I’d talk with him daily and he was always nice. Finally, a friend told me that this guy had been talking bad about me behind my back and said that I was “pesky.” I was truly hurt by his words. Like I said, he was always nice to me…to my face. Ever since then, my interactions with men has changed. Not every man, just the ones I’ve been interested in. I always worry that I’m getting on his nerves, being annoying, etc. I know I shouldn’t feel like that, but that truly affected me.

People are always going to talk behind your back. That is part of life. Even God, has back biters. Doesn't mean you should, give up your life because of it. Be you. Go after what you want irregardless. Be courageous. Be bold as long as you know you love the consequence they bring.

Yeah, dating two cishet white men turned me off that whole demographic.

And dating a white lesbian is convicing me I'd much prefer to date PoC like myself.

Like, it's exhausting having to explain multiple cultures to them. I don't know how you get to 40 in my country without knowing how big and long Indian weddings are.

Yes, my Ex-wife really did my head in. After 20 years, I recovered, but other women are now doing damage. I doubt I will ever marry again or have kids.

No. My ex once put a machete inches a way from my face in anger theathen me.

Freaking crazy, but my attitude towards women hasn't changed one bit just because of my personal bad experiences.
