No fireworks - they're illegal in my county due to the fire hazard, which is quite real, but that won't stop many of the neighbors.

There's definitely going to be BBQ, though. I have ribs, chicken, and 4 tri-tip roasts. And someone always brings burgers, hot dogs, or brats/hot links. Others are bringing potato and macaroni salads, bean dip and chips, and we'll be making fries in the air fryer, which does a crazy good job.

The good news is that, while it's 105F today, it will only be 88 on Tuesday, so we'll have shade, music, lots of food, and reasonable weather for July.

We had amazing food on Canada Day yesterday and also this morning, I had a restaurant meal for breakfast, a Costco potato salad and home made salad for lunch along with some beer, and for dinner, we might be having shrimp dumplings or restaurant food too.

Yeah! My birthday falls around the Fourth, so my family usually does a big cookout and birthday party for me: barbecue, birthday cake, and fireworks... oh, and no work. Yeah, I'm happy!

Probably not. Most of my coworkers have took the time off to spend time with their families. That I have to fill in early shifts all week.
