Why are older single women always regard as crazy cat ladies?

Meanwhile an older single man is called a bachelor (nicer name), a woman is always referred with the derrogative lable as ''the crazy cat lady''. Why?

Not all single people want pets either. Everyone isn't the same. Not everyone single is crazy either.

There are many reasons why she can be single. Maybe she can be asexual and never had attraction towards anyone and is happy with her life. Not necessarily crazy.

It’s an outdated, stereotypical way of thinking that our society has been conditioned with for ages. However I feel like that way of thinking is gradually phasing out. I’ve seen older women praised and celebrated more in the past 5 years than I ever have seen in my life. We aren’t standing for those stupid labels anymore and it’s bringing all the misogynistic men on sites like this to complain about how hard they have it.

Not true, unless they are in fact one. A lot of single older women are widows. Or successful businesswomen.

So that's the only single purpose in a woman's life, finding a man and having kids? I thought it was for her to do what she wants in life (whether it's marriage, being a scientist, being a lone traveler, etc) and as long as she's happy that's all that matter.
