I really fear to bring a child to This world its really a scary place. Am I wrong for this?

I dont know if anyone shares my opinion. This world is filled with great things and great people. But also there are a lot of horrible things that makes it unworthy. We all suffer to Some degrees. One more than the other. But i would feel so sorry for my child to come this very hostile world. I have seen how difficult life can be. And how many do suffer.

I never want any children. There are 3 main reasons.

1. As you say, the world is going to become a really shit place at some time.

2. I do not want to waste 7 years at uni and the possibility of becoming a lecturer just to raise kids.

3. I do not want to give birth to a child, knowing it will have to face death in the future.

Maybe this is the time to own up to a future problem I will have. I have been hiding it for several weeks. I am losing my eyesight at 29. I am glad I don't have kids. It might be heredity. It will mean the end of mmy career, and the end of my GAG experience.

U stated the exact points that makes me dont want to have a child. If someone asked me to send my child to a dangerous place will i allow it? Of course no. So by bringing a child to life i am bringing them to a dangerous place and i am going to die and leave them here. I am so sorry to hear about ur sight. But many blind people are still able to use the internet so ur gag usage can contuinue still. I dont know how they do it but i met many people online who are blind and they use devices to help them type and interact

No, you're not wrong. Actually the fact that you're thinking about the evils in the world shows that you're responsible and intelligent. Most people don't think about the world's problems when they think about having kids. Either they end up being parents by "accident" or they just think about themselves and do what they want.
I think about the same things as you. Plus, the fact that my kids would be black also concerns me. The only difference between me and you is that you still got a lot of time to decide if you want to have children or not. I don't have time, so think wisely.

Do you realize how long people have been saying this? That includes your parents and your grandparents generation. Yet they still brought children into the world.

There are a limited number of places where not many children are being born - like not enough to replace the ones who die. That is usually, but not always, for economic reasons.

a lot of people had children during ww2 and even back when resources weren't as advanced as they are today. This is just massive cope a lot of people have now. The older generation wanted to have children, the newer don't and social media and technology is part of blame for this new phenomenon

You are correct, however, it has always been a scary place, however, world population is at an all-time high, going from 1.5 billion in 1900 to 7 billion in 2000 to 8 billion now.
