1. The death of loved ones. You learn to move on but you never fully get over it. 2. Certain emotional blows you take from the opposite gender. I realize you don't take problems one relationship into another. But some wounds simply will not heal especially if they're in an almost perpetual state of being reopened. What's worse is you can't explain it to the opposite gender.
