According to you, does male and female humor differ? If yes, how?

Male humor is usually horseplay, prodding and often darker. We are usually good at making imitations. We also find violence more funny if it has quips. Think of all the old Arnold Schwarzenegger movies and all his one liners. That’s not funny to most women but funny to a lot of guys

Female humor is more fluff and really only for well females. Usually more about their bodies or relationship comedies.

No offense ladies but men are usually better at making both other men and women laugh.

Yes they are very different. Women in general aren't funny. All the best stand up comedians are men. This is because the best humor comes from sarcasm or real experiences in life which men have an abundance of. Women do not see nearly enough struggle as men do so cannot capitalize it as humor.

I think the mainstream habits I see is that men tend to be more dynamic and chaotic in their humour and women tend to be more critical or elaborate in their comedic stories. But I have met men who tell jokes in a passive and intellectual way and I've met girls who tell jokes in an aggressive and behavioural standard - breaking way. Examples are Chelsea handler who is aggressive and wild in her humour, while being a woman.

Humor changes according to your perception of the world and the environment you are in. Some of the humor is cleverly constructed, while others are based on shock and chaos. And that's why gender doesn't play a role in humor. But in general, men reflect their humor in a better way..

Yes it does. IMHO, most men tend to get all kinds of humor, while women only get certain kinds of humor, which interestingly enough, is mostly kiddie humor and vulgar humor; women usually don't get Dad Jokes or puns.

I disagree. Female comedians are nothing bug vulgarity. And it's angry instead of fun. I don't see why anyone watches those people.

Yeah there’s a difference, just watch professional ones on tv , they have a different way at looking at things, the only good female comedians are lesbians it seems
