Yeah, I've been told I look like I have the thousand yard stare or that I am angry before, btu that'd be when I am just neutral. It doesn't help I wear all black, I am pale, and take medication that somewhat zombifies me, lmao.
It's why I try to sound friendly/sarcastic in conversation and thankfully I smile a lot when I talk to someone. However, this was a bitch during covid (2020/2021), as it only showed my eyes and it was harder for people to hear me. I remember my friend's sister in a class of mine I had met was intimidated by me, so on the third day of class I had taken off my mask just to show that I smile a lot.

Sorta. I do it at my job. So for those who don't know, I'm a security guard. Just last week, this japanese couple was like "Okay, thank you!" after I told them the park is closed. I get off the hill and see four legs... chilling. I just sa- Okay then.
I go up there and give them "the stare" with my red glasses. And flash the light on them. Give 'em about 1 minute and they look... they get the message. So yeah, when I need to. <3
