As humans, most of us start having crushes during our school years, dating, seek attention and approval from the opposite gender, get into relationship, suffer heartbreaks, etc. Even guys desperately wanting sex; that's still seeking attention/approval from a woman.

Instead of all that drama wouldn't it be great if some of us were asexuals? We wouldn't have to worry getting controlled by emotions if you boyfriend/girlfriend doesn't reply to your text, get hurt if our crushes don't like us back, place too much focus on falling in love, etc.

It seems you don't quite understand male sexuality. Yes, we crave sex, but it's not because we are seeking attention/approval from a woman. That's why WOMEN crave intimacy, but not men.

The point is we as humans crave for the attention of the opposite gender, whether it's just sex, intimacy, attention or whatever other reason. It's still seeking attention.

I think you’re confusing asexual with aromantic. Quite a lot of people are asexual, aromantic or a mix of both. Romantic feelings and sexual feelings are two different things.
