Sort of a school project (actually this whole thing is), but what's something you wish you'd done or experienced (PG and nothing cringe please) in your teen years? Some adventure or experience that you missed or wish you could do over :)
Thanks ^_^

I hope this isn't a bad influence but I often wish I spent a little more time socializing and hanging out with friends back then, and even talk to the teachers and pick their brains outside of class.
I was one of those uber-nerd-jock types who spent all my time studying as well as training for my sports. I managed to do it in an antisocial way, just keeping my head down and training and studying.
It probably wouldn't have made much difference to my career if I had a 3.5 GPA instead of a 4.0 GPA. Trying to maintain a 4.0 GPA the whole time came at a huge cost to developing socially and just having some fun here and there. I also still forgot most of what I learned in the end anyway. So I would have taken a more relaxed and easy-going approach to school had I did my teenage years over again.
It's a tough one to try to tell what's optimal in hindsight. What I did learn the hard way though after graduating from uni is that even in a job as antisocial as mine (software developer), people skills tend to be almost as equal in importance as our knowledge and practice in computer science.
Being the most knowledgeable and experienced engineer and computer scientist on the team hardly helps us advance if we have difficulty getting along with the rest of our team. So at least if I did my life over again, I would have focused on developed sufficient social/people skills to get along with the widest variety of people a lot sooner.
* developing, sorry
Probably my teeth. I didn't go to the dentist from age 13 to 26. So when I finally went I had 9 cavities. They were all small and I haven't had one since. So overall my dental health is really good considering. But I might never have ever had any if I had went to the dentist. Also my teeth were crooked till i was in my mid 20's because I didn't get braces for them. Knowing how shallow women are in teens and early 20's are it does make me if my early dating life would have been more successful.
Well, I hated school with a passion - starting in kindergarten, jr. High and high school, and school to get a certificate in medical terminology and medical secretary.
I am just finding out why I hardly ever went to school. Because I was allergic to almost every thing in a school.
I used to get sick 🤢 in elementary school a lot. Headaches, stomach aches. It was that way all through school.
Then I found out I have Multiple Chemical Sensitivity Disorder.
So my regret was staying home so much. But I did manage to graduate 🙂
I wish I hadn't lost my virginity at 15 yo and waited until I was older.
Def feel that - not gonna happen for me anytime soon :)
That's very mature of you.
Thanks :)

There was a girl that I was really in love with. I could never got up the guts to tell her how I felt even though I was pretty sure she had feelings for me too.
I should have gotten braces on my teeth years earlier then I did.
I wish I had paid more attention to my mothers advice.
English grammar and spelling.
I would have had sex earlier
