All I Want for Christmas is You by Mariah Carey came out in 1994, 30 years ago, and every Christmas comes around. This song is pretty much the Christmas anthem heard when it plays ever since its release. For those back then who first heard it in 1994, what were your thoughts of the song at that time, and did you think it was going to be played every Christmas or just a one time hit?

I didn't love it then, and I don't love it now. I've never been a fan of that "diva-style" singing, from anyone.

2:20-3:35 is the best part. The choir and then her little whistle notes at the end! Ugh Ariana THOUGHT!
