Why are boobs a bigger insecurity than hips for the majority?

Ever thought of that? I have rarely been told by a woman that they themselves pointed out that their hips is their insecurity, it's always the breasts, they can have a good size boobs and slim hips and still get insecure about their breasts, the hips is what builds the curvature of the hourglass shape women have, is it cause breasts is a big part of womanhood or whatnot? I don't get it 🙃

with boobies besides size like one could be bigger, how firm/saggy it is, and how the nipples or areolas look. people notice it them quickly too and they're A LOT more sexualized so we gonna care about it more

Hips have always been one of my biggest insecurities. But it's a warped view to believe that having an hourglass figure is what makes a woman beautiful.

As much as I'm trying for self-acceptance, I'm still seriously considering surgery at some point in the future if I can afford it.

Not from most guys I've heard from about it. It pretty much seals the deal that you'll never be able to wear a body-con dress or anything clingy which, as someone who loves fashion, is devastating.
My boobs and my butt are average, so they don't really affect what I can and can't wear, which makes them less of a priority on the list of insecurities. Plus, boobs can be pushed up, and butts can be built. Bone structure you can't change.

I think it's because boobies are more noticeable than hips. I mean, most hips do widen out. Not to mention there are exercises to help with curves and hips if a person is that worried. But a lot of the attention will be made to the boobs.
