What's a purchase you made that you immediately regretted?

I paid over $30 for some vintage coins at a pawn shop. I wanted to have the experience, but the haggling stuff you see on TV is bullshit. I ended up finding the same set online for just 3 bucks and ended up throwing them away
a little drum set... for a little cousin of mine, lol
Why did you regret it though….
haha, I actually didn't my uncle did... lol

A Jackson JS34 guitar. I have several Jacksons and love them, but this inexpensive model was pretty trashy. I can usually set up even the cheapest Floyd Rose clones to return to zero, but there was some defect in this one that always threw a string or two off. I was able to flip it for what I paid, but it was a major disappointment.
Wow, also they are relatively expensive. My sister has 2 Yamaha electric ones and I believe they are good…
I have lot of marble tiles floor to clean in my house and thought a small battery vacuum cleaner will be more handy than the construction site DeWalt vacuum cleaner I use usually. This battery device is a complete failure, it's too week and microscopic dirt canister is instantly full. Wouldn't recommend.
I always think carefully before I buy something. I do plenty of research and I really think about whether or not I really need it. I cannot think of any time that I regretted buying something.
That’s really good…
A crock pot, I have no idea why I bought it or what I planned on making in it. I could take it back but I know I’ll regret it a week later.🤣
They are very useful though…
I know, but I’ve really never used one and worry about ruining a meal “practicing”.
You should try using it, you will be addicted to it believe me..
Really? I know people that love them. I wanted to try making pork ribs.
Cooking any type of meat will be amazing using them…
You talked me into it lol I’ll try ribs this weekend.
Awesome… let me know how it will be😊
I will.
@elena_stewart Hi, I made ribs this last weekend and they were delicious! Only thing I did wrong was put bbq sauce on them for the last 45 min. It didn’t stiffen up, it was runny. Someone said put them in the oven at 325 for a half hour after adding the sauce. Anyway, I’m definitely going to try other things.
Awesome…. sounds delicious 😋😋
A brand new car. I had a car that was perfectly fine and almost paid off but I was tempted by an offer of a brand new warranty and the same payment amount. It’s a great car but I didn’t need to buy a new one.
When I buy purses because they look cute and I think I'm going to use them, but then I never use them. 🙄
I use only one most of the time…
A mortar and pestle. They said it was made of granite. Shit was made from resin.
Wow…
a bed for my cat
it made her sneeze non stop
Poor cat….
Bought a cake because it looked so good, I wasn't thinking straight... Didn't check to see if it contained dairy until I got to the car... I couldn't return it.
Ohh Did you throw it out?
@Still-alive I gave it away 😭
Lol well at least it wasn’t wasted. Some dude cancelled on me while i still had their breakfast burritos in my car and strangely I couldn’t find any homeless people to give them too (pretty odd for l. a. lol). Had to throw one out. Smh.
I have this experience over and over again every time I buy government services with my taxes. I always feel like I'm getting ripped off.
Everything from the government is a ripped off….
Yes... The difference is that when you buy something in the private market place it's voluntary. You get to decide if it is worth it or not before you buy it. Don't like what they are selling? You can go somewhere else instead.
But you have no choice with the government. You are forced to buy the package of services they are selling whether you want to or not. So they have no incentive to improve their product.
Everytime I buy membership to play video games online lol
Lol…
One of my bikes I bought during covid wasn't built properly.. quality control. Anyway. Lemon from 211 miles. It was a headache of epic proportions dealing with the process during covid.
nothing that i couldn't return if i wanted to
if it's a nice thing i'll just give it to someone else
Cashflow 101, gave me a headache just opening the box, still on the shelf there's £80 I've probably lost
A phone charger that ended up not working. It was $14. 🙄🤬
a pari of slippers - they are going back on our next visit to the store
oops pair
@elena_stewart
i always think 10 times before I buy, so no regret so far
What the ….
I blame myself for allowing it to happen though.
I bought Skull and Bones on pc. Regrets followed pretty quickly.
A little pouch from the 99¢ store. It was cheaply made 😂
Nothing. All my investments tripled or more
Good for you…
A purchase in an online game
Jimmy Choo perfume
Buying four hundred dollars on toys and lingerie that was adult toys
