If the guy has a good paying job (75,000 dollars a year), is handsome, has so many positive qualities and everything you would want in a man but he doesn't have any family just 3 family members who are not the best. the mother uses him as a son husband and doesn't like you and has caused issues in the relationship. his brother is mid 30s and still single and doesn't have any relationship with her brother. the youngest sister has bipolar disorder and seems so-so.

nonetheless he has shown that he would never let anyone come between us.

Sounds like you described most of my exes. Their mom always wanted her son to herself in a very odd way. The dads were always absent or racist. The sisters were always staring at me like they were into me. The brothers were always flirting. Crazy. Honestly, I’d rather date an orphan. But yea i’ll date someone whose mom doesn't like me as long as he doesn't let her come between us. But most did. Only one guy stood up to his mom
