Why are some or most guys disrespectful or don’t care for trying to pursue a woman who’s already taken by someone else?

Like it’s when a dude tends to push up on a woman who’s already taken and she states to him that she is in a relationship and loves the man she is with; she’s not the cheating type to be known. But then the guy will still try to talk to her and say things like I don’t care about your man, you look good, let's get your number still, or I can show better than his lame ass. I hate and despise dudes like that.

Because speaking as a man myself, I’m the kind of man who would never pursue another man’s woman by no means, and I would respect their relationship. If it’s a woman I just met and she told me she’s already in a relationship, I would never pursue her and have respect for the man and relationship, because that is immaturity and a lack of respect for somebody’s partner. Even if I had complimented her without knowing until she told me, I’d tell her I respect her and her boyfriend/husband's relationship. That’s not my style or my character to ever do so, and unlike some dudes, he wouldn’t give a fuck. Any man would understand that when she is happily taken and this dude who is young, dumb, and thinks he is the shit or something to keep pushing on a woman who is taken.

Yes! You are right. I feel fair play to a guy for approaching a woman. But if she says she is not interested and/or in a relationship that should be end of it. It's not like a horrid rejection.

Unfortunately I've heard some men actually prefer to chase a woman who is taken. Maybe they get a thrill if they can "change her mind" .. I don't know

Life would just be a lot simpler if cheaters didn't cheat and everyone respected others as well as their own relationships!

Yea which I think is dumb honestly because it’s a respect and courtesy for someone who is already in a relationship. Dudes like that who think that way to still pursue a woman who is taken just for the “thrill” or hoping to change her mind by saying dumb shit like I can be better than the guy you with.

And best believe the very next time I’ll be in a real serious relationship to be this time in person, I would do the things for her no man could ever do before or after me and she could never think of being with a man. She’ll instantly deny or say no to him if he came around with bullshit about trying to convince her to leave me. It’s all based upon character and who you are as a person that leaves the impression as well impact on the individual you’re with.

I agree, the world would be a lot smoother and beautiful if there weren’t cheaters period and showed love/compassion/respect to one another.

Some guys are just bold in that way — overly confident in themselves and lacking a moral compass. They’re essentially just selfish and don’t necessarily even like the woman in question. It’s just a challenge for the guy, like figuring out a really messed up rubix cube. Once she gives into him he’ll lose interest and go prey on some new woman.

Even without a ring, “no means no.” If a woman claims she’s taken, that’s it, no further claims should be necessary. But some guys don’t respect that.
