I’m #11, I’m covering for our defensman who brought the puck down towards the net. We got off a shot, but it was saved and the other team cleared it out. I dove to try to save it, but pushed off of my toe when it was still straight, which doesn’t work on ice skates, lmao

Our other defenseman had lost his man, who went and collected the loose puck and scored on a breakaway with 18 seconds left. Gutted😖😖😖

Going back and forth on if it was my fault or not, now that I’ve seen the video. I wasn’t out of position and I don’t think I could’ve gotten there. But before I saw the tape, I was inconsolable.

Its actually only the first game of the season, lmfao, but this one ripped my heart out of my chest💔

Bummer. Yes, I got crushed once or twice. most recently, I hit a tennis ball that was going to go out... it cost me the match. So mad. It makes you tougher and makes the wins better. That's the value of competition... it makes you sharper. That's the flaw with socialism and communism, they make people slack.

Yeah, I keep replaying it. Definitely should have been on the balls of my feet and ready to move more. Also thinking we should’ve just kept a man deep to preserve the tie and avoid this exact scenario. Oh well…. doesn’t really matter that much, everyone makes the playoffs in this league, haha

Can't really relate every tournament and championship I went to always ended with me leaving with a neck full of medals and pride in my heart.

Though I had plenty of physical accidents and injuries where I felt like my guts had been ripped out, punched, knee'd, kicked in the stomach one time I almost puked my guts out actually puked so much that there was literally no liquid in my body to vomit out actually got really dangerous there for a bit.

You'll never know true sufferings until you've puked out every ounce of liquid in your body and just dry heave when your body tries to puke because there's nothing left easily one of the worst experiences I ever had felt like my guts had been ripped out and I was deadly dehydrated.

Nah I was just really good at martial arts. And injuries and accidents don't happen to much during tournaments a fair number of the events are solo events aside from fighting, team kata's and self defense drills.

In CIF JV football in high school when a ridiculous interference penalty was called on another DB on an interception I made. The officials admitted after the game that they blew the call under the rules. The penalty allowed the opponent to score the winning TD instead of allowing us to run out the clock. We missed the playoffs because of the loss.

We’ll see how the coaching goes, but he’s been in the system his entire playing and coaching career. Offensive line is an absolute shambles right now, with no repair in sight. I’m on Team Don’t Break Drake, keep his ass on the sideline this season. I played garage league. I was the goalie. So I got demolished a ton. People don't like to play defense. Games like that drain me , stress me and were not that fun.

I feel so bad for our goalies, they get left hanging out to dry routinely. Thats why I felt so bad about this one, I put it all on the goalie vs one of the best players in the league🤦‍♂️ The intent of effort is always there with me, but I just duffed that play. But my heart goes out to you, man. There’s no game without you, you should be getting more help!

I've played for a little over 20years. And I havnt played much past 2 years. Got a knee injury. I think im hanging up my pads. I've moved on to another sport.
