If I know there is batteries, I cover the positive and negative terminals with clear tape. So they can see and so it doesn’t trip and egnignt. I worked at a recycling metal plan and people would bring in things but they’re uneducated about the overall process. And that’s okay to be uneducated about some stuff, learning happens!
