Anyone else get this weird sort of primal repulsion towards AI generated images/artwork?

I notice that a lot of users on here have AI generated profile pics and G@G themselves made some bots with AI gen profile pics, so this might be an unpopular sentiment here, but I absolutely hate, hate, HATE AI images/artwork. No offense to the individuals who use AI pics as of course I don't know you personally, but the art itself makes me wanna barf in the same way seeing some sort of disgusting bug (namely big cockroaches), slug, bodily fluids, poop, etc does. Literally no exaggeration.

May sound sort of irrational, and perhaps it is, and you might call me crazy, but that's why I wrote it as "weird sort of primal repulsion."

As to what I specifically hate about AI images? Somewhat hard to put into words, but one of the reasons is it just feels souless and empty to me. Like it almost looks like art that aliens who don't understand human emotion would make. They all have this same sort of weird generic style with no substance or variety. And another thing, how it manages to look "so perfect yet so incredibly flawed" at the same time.

Like at a first glance the image might look great, but as you start to observe things more you start to notice more and more and more things out of place. Such as more than 5 fingers in each hand. Or things in the background that don't really look like anything. Weird distorted writing/letters/numbers. People in the background who look deformed and creepy. Fucked up proportions in general. Lifeless eyes. And so on and so forth.

So yeah... besides me finding it gross, I actually find it really creepy too, or sometimes even downright scary. Like not just for images representing real people, but also even simple cartoony characters. Like AI can make even a simple yellow smiley face or a cartoon heart creepy.

TL;DR I absolutely hate AI images. No offense to anyone who likes them, but I hate them. To me they're just disgusting and creepy. So souless and devoid of authenticity. Not to mention all the extra fingers, weird faces, etc.

Like with most visuals and media, the days where you could believe what was shown or printed are long gone.

You have to question everything you read, listen to or see. Nothing is genuine anymore and the AI trend makes people suspicious about everything.

I belong to that group that no longer believes in anything unless I can verify the source by myself. But even a reputable organisation is no longer trustworthy. Fact is that we live in a world where most of the information that is available is fake.

And when you start doubting, that is when society is in the verge of a collapse.

I feel the same way.

They are indeed soulless.

There is also some controversy, one of the bigger ones that generates a portfolio of ai images, has terms and conditions that basically says we can do whatever we want with those images you upload, irrevocably. I believe it's called Lensa AI. No doubt, most of them have something similar in their terms and conditions.

It is, like 90% of modern music, soulless. AI is taken over, and sadly the mindless masses are just going along with it. You know, all the songs in the current top10 single chart are primarily computer generated. Morons don't want to know because they have the brainwashed celebrity worship thing going on.

Now for pictures, some AI art is great, photo filters are OK in moderation, but passing an AI image off as being you is really pushing it.
