With this Arctic outflow happening over much of Canada & the US how are you doing temperature wise? Where I am it is clear & cold minus 36C about -32F.

That sounds rather brutal. The coldest I ever experienced was -25C and that was 40 years ago. We don't get such cold winters anymore, currently it's around 0 degrees.

  It broke down and I've been trying for 3 or 4 months to get SOMEONE to fix it!! I just signed up for some deal where I'm supposed to get a new one for free but, who knows when THAT'S gonna happen? I needed it this week!! it looks, to me, like the weather's gonna start getting nice again, son. At least ABOVE freezing. Chances are, I'll get the new furnace when I don't need it anymore!! Thankfully, today's SUPPOSED to be the last day of sub-0 weather.

The sun is doing its best to keep up but it’s so cold. The wind bites hard. We are on a 3 day extreme cold warning. Kids aren’t going outside during school times.

Mornings here start below freezing often but warm up later. It is 26F now, will remain in the 30's most of the day, and expected to reach 44F in late afternoon.

I've haven't left the house in a week. My husband goes and comes back from work like Scott in the Antarctic. It's that cold that thos morning I refused to take off my pyjamas for sex, I just pulled my pyjamas down over butt and let him do me from behind under the covers while I lay on my side. 5 minutes later went back to sleep cuddling in the warmth.
