Should I feel guilty not working while my fiance does?

I collect disability checks. I have been sitting on ass lately, but I have also been struggling with some health issues. I was fired mjd-July of last year as a software developer. The tech job market has been decimated, and I have not been able to gain full-time employment since in my industry. Meanwhile, I do have some gigs coming down the pipeline, but they haven't been given to me just yet. I went to interview for a part time campus security officer job yesterday, but I received a rejection phone call on the way back home from the interview due to my criminal record. In fact, I may struggle to find any public-facing role due to my past stalking conviction and being labeled as a predator online.

As usual, your biggest problem remains taking responsibility and trying to blame everyone and everything but yourself. It's not the internet's fault for labeling you a predator. It's YOUR fault for being a child stalker.

I had a gig back in December. I have some gigs in the pipeline. I do collect disability at the moment. Sadly, I have been declined for some basic entry level jobs due to my criminal record and being labeled as a predator online.

She doesn't live with me full time yet. It is just the point I guess that I am about to get married to her, yet I don't have my shit together. It sucks because I was fired 3 weeks after my engagement to her. I am not looking too stable right now.
