Are you able to exchange cars at the dealer after buying it?

I got a used car at a very small dealer place.
they have very little cars to choose from. My old car stopped working and got a white Kia sorento. But after a week of driving it, it feels huge, no need for 3 row seats, and work daily far and need a small car. I have no kids no family, and now feel like an old lady with this sorento. The inside is elegant , comfy seats, feels warm. But I also want work on free time delivering food and need a small car. It drives quiet but too big to maneuver.

"It drives quiet but too big to maneuver." -- This is like 90% in your head. Once you get used to a car it's not a big deal. But if you're really uncomfortable I would practice a lot in parking lots that aren't busy. Of course lots of people hate to practice.

Dealer is looking to make money. They aren't your friend, even if you went back there 5 minutes after buying the car. They will look for ways to milk you of money. There was probably something wrong with the car they didn't even tell you about for them to give you a great deal but usually they still charge top dollar.

You still want to get rid of it: If you paid cash, I would list it for sell myself and go for top blue book value, because I'm sure the dealer made it look mint condition so you should be able to get top $.

If you got a loan I'd pay that off with the sell money and then look for another car.

My mom said in 6 months I’ll be able trade in the car for one that I want. Meantime I can raise my credit my paying this monthly payment of this used car I got.

My old car was paid in cash 6 years ago but now too old 200,000 miles and had a lot of issues with it so got a used car and will pay monthly payments of $380 . I still have the old car tho but it doesn’t drive well in freeways or hills. And needs a new catalyst and has engine oil leak.

It's extremely unlikely that any dealership, even a used one, would simply let you exchange your vehicle for something else.

If they are a locally owned, independant dealer, then they may be willing to work with you, in order to come up with a solution, though. The best you can do is ask, although I would do so sooner, rather than later.

The longer you drive it, the less likely thry would be to consider working something out with you.

Generally, no, you cannot simply return a car to the dealership after buying it because it's considered a final sale once the contract is signed. However, there are some exceptions, like if the car has significant mechanical issues (lemon law) or if the dealership offers a return policy. You can also trade the car in for another one, but a full refund is not typically offered for buyer's remorse.

Depends, but most (used) car dealers are not going to give you a favorable deal unless you know someone in management there.

It depends on where you live. Where I live I think you have 10 days to return a car if you decide you do not like it.

Yes they have a consumer protection act. I believe you have 30 days. You'll you have to check it out though.
