Do you know how to make a paper airplane?
And there are apparently a ton of different designs. How many do you know?

I haven't made a paper airplane in years. I remember two basic designs.
One is the one shown, which goes fast.
The other one goes slower, is more stable and usually flies farther. It has ailerons at the back that can be adjusted for a smoother flight, or to do loops. I don't have a drawing but here are the steps:
1. Fold the paper in half lengthwise
2. With the folded part of the paper down, form a triangular nose at one end of the paper, on each side of the paper
3. Fold what's left lengthwise 90 degrees on each side of the paper to form the wings
4. Make small fold at the back for ailerons, and adjust them for smooth flight
I used to but forgot since its been years, I do still remember how to make paper poppers but I never figured out how one of my classmates made them insanely loud despite doing the same thing. His sounded like fireworks.
there's a few versions on youtube so I had to look up the exact one, its this one :
Regrettably I don't... However I'm more than sure my husband does! lol
It's pretty fun and easy. And then hours of amusement.
@BCRanger10
I'm sure it must be... Maybe my husband can make one for our five year old " little man"... And I can try and make one for our three year old "little princess"!
I fold them a little bit different
That was the first one I learned how to make.

I do!! I'd make them and I'd use all my strength and energy to make them fly as far as possible than my brothers planes, lol. Those were the good days.
Wow, you took me back. I forgot all about that.. tell me are you kids still doing that. I am seriously gonna make one right now
Made one for the first time in many years the day I asked this question 😆
Yes and thank you i made one after i read you're question
Sure. What kid didn't make paper airplanes? What adult forgot how to do that? Simple cheap fun.
There are several designs but I only know of 1 or 2.
I also know how to make a paper football, a paper popper a paper balloon/box, a paper fortune teller, a paper penguin, a ring out of a dollar bill, a paper hat, a flibber, and maybe a few other things. I'm NOT just another pretty face!
I’ve made all of these for my for my nieces and nephews at on time or another; the Dart you show is the basic design.
Its been years... Like 25 years, but yeah i know how.
I grew up with an older brother, so I had to learn how to make paper planes. Once I learned how we’d fly our paper planes together. Before I learned he just threw them at my head!
I made a lot of them when I was a child and early teen. I remember my parents got me a "paper airplane book" and I made a lot of them in that book when I was maybe 13.
I definitely made more paper planes (and everything else too) at school than I did homework and school work... lmao
No, but I know how to make a paper cup which believe it or not can be a life saver out in the middle of nowhere.
Yes, indeed I learned how to make these damn things when I was a very young child, just like many other people.
Two types of dart type and one with long rectangular wings that flies slow.
When we were li'l kids, my brothers & I used to play with the paper airplanes we'd make.
yeah, i did it for my nephews a few years ago. all that work and all gone in one crash
I do know how to make one design.
The Dart?
Wait... you can make a paper F-16? Nice.
For about 70 years, yes. 3-4 basic designs.
We got a paper airplane book/kit for one of our grandkids who is into stuff like that.
I've done it before
I know the one I was taught.
I’m a paper airplane champion! 🥇
I won a silly contest once. I got a little help from a breeze. 😂
