Are greasy restaurant floors and oily shoe prints harming the environment?

I work at mcdonalds, and the floors are so greasy, they are slippery. As you could imagine the bottom of our shoes have a layer of grease on them. I was walking across the parking lot in the rain, and my foot prints left a rainbow color, and then the rain would wash it away. This has got to be bad for the environment. Is there anything I can do, or should be doing?

It’s just cooking oil. You’re not doing any serious harm

Where does oil come from? Nature!! So, why would oil stains on the ground be a bad thing?
