There’s no such thing as a “former murderer”. You can’t take back murder and you can’t make amends for it. That’s the reason that it’s considered one of the most egregious crimes. My level of concern would depend entirely upon the circumstances of their crime. Did they kill someone who was threatening them or their family? I welcome them to the neighborhood and we become great friends! Did they run over some kid on a bike because the kid was wearing a red hat? We’d never be friendly and my vigilance would be high. Did they have a complete psychotic break and murder a bunch of random people? I’d probably find a way to make them disappear before their next psychotic episode.
Depends who he murdered and why. My morality and ethics are completely situational and flexible. The US government murders people all the time. But a lot of people seem very tolerant of that. What about those 100-120 Iranian kids tRump murdered a few months ago?
@kvass I would check up on him to see if he was an 'ax murderer" and then check his tool shed for an ax or hatchet. Always talk to him in the yard with my Beretta 92fs loaded and cocked behind my back, trying for the 'head shot' if necessary.
Depends on the context I guess… did he murder a random person? Then hell yeah I would be uncomfortable. I guess I just wouldn’t like it either way though.
It really depends. It's not really that worrying to me if I have no connection to them, i'll treat them just as I do with any other stranger because it's wrong to treat someone badly because they did some bad things in the past. At the same time i'd be on guard just incase though especially if they committed the murder due to psychosis, explosive rage etc
I guess it depends who he/she murdered and why and if there's a chance of them murdering ME. If it was like Varg Vikerness, Casey Anthony, or OJ even, I wouldn't care.
I'm probably going to be cool with that. As long as he's not a serial killer. If he's just one and done I'm sure it will be fine. Most people who spent time in prison don't want to go back.

And how do you know your new great friend won't start seeing you as a threat over a tiny disagreement? You can never trust a killer’s justice system
😂😂😂😂😂😂😂
There is no such thing as " former "
He or she is a murderer , I'd keep my distance , no invitations over for Sunday brunch.
But it would depend more on the circumstances of the murder itself.. who and why? etc etc
Or was it murders? This would all make a big difference.

😂😂😂😂😂🥰🥰🥰
Well like they say don't judge a book by its cover
I think they're talking about If he's quiet If he keeps his yard clean Keeps to himself I think that's the cover
Of course I would mind
Has the person served their full sentence, shown genuine remorse, and successfully completed rehabilitation programmes?
I wouldn't stress over it.
Yeah sure a 12week course on 'how not to murder' can fix their brain
@kvass
Is it really just 12 weeks?

Honestly, I think he'd be the unlucky neighbor...
Haha exactly! A murderer would be the unlucky one if they became neighbors with a Turk. I agree! ✨
I think character matters more than nationality. I respect peaceful people, but I don't intimidate easily either.🙂
A 1.98 cm tall neighbor who isn't easily intimidated? Sounds like the perfect protector to me. Tell me more. 👀 Would you protect me too?🤣
I guess it depends who he/she murdered and why and if there's a chance of them murdering ME. If it was like Varg Vikerness, Casey Anthony, or OJ even, I wouldn't care.

Convicted murderers include actor Leslie Grantham who played Dirty Den in EastEnders.
It's weird for an ex criminal to have these positive traits hehe
Sometimes they're the chillest people. Don't ask how I know :P
I won't ask miss kvass 😁
I would move out of an apartment if I found out someone had been murdered in my neighbourhood, never mind my next-door neighbour.
A+ for survival skills
Oh I would definitely mind... I'd sell my home and move. I wouldn't feel safe.
Obviously if I'd have the choice I prefer you not have one as neighbour 🤷♀️
Long as he doesn't target me and mine and isn't a sex offender, idgaf.
My neighbour murdered a pedophile that raped with his 9 year old daughter so brutally that she will never have kids. I've no problem with him.
I would make sure my gun was loaded and keep it handy,
@kvass mind a lot, it's a big deal.
I would sell my house and leave
What's so bad about a quiet neighbor 🤣
@kvass
Quiet neighbor with murdered,
Doesn't so u d good 😮
Depends on why they killed
Self-defence sure ditto taking out a sex offender
Most murderers are just like that, they don't want o draw any attention to themselves.
I won't mind or care unless his behaviour took U-turn.
I wouldn't do anything to make him or her feel bad, but I would always be cautious. If I had children, I would be even more careful.
Depends on if they've reformed.(I've got at least two killers in my family.)
How is this even a question?
You’re so predictable. Same karen attitude under every single post, cringe af
It would depend on who he murdered and why.
You don't want to be my neighbor? 😱
That would be a big problem for me
Not at all, we could exchange stories
Uh... Yes!
Absolutely
doesn't bother me.
