Need advice here if anyone has hired a skip tracer or PI for locating a person in your town that just moved there?

I live in the US and need to find a person in 2 weeks to serve with a temp restraining order. I know the general area the respondent lives in. I know his car make and model. I know his prior address and who he is living with but I do need to locate his residential address ASAP

Any info that you know that I have no researched so far I would gladly like to know.

Any lawyers here? How would I get a process server and arrange service at a neutral public location without disclosing my involvement?

I am an attorney and I occasionally use a private investigator for this purpose.

Many private investigators also serve process, and they will perform a skip trace to locate the guy. Do you think he is living in a place he has rented, or is he living with someone else? What kind of work does he do? Does he maintain a presence on social media? Does he have an occupational or professional license? Do you know what kind of car he is driving? Does he have family or long-time friends in your location?

When he is served, he will know that the restraining order has been requested by you.

Thanks for replying... yes he has told me he was moving in with his friend here that he use to stay with all the time on his summer vacations in an apartment. Yes he is on social media and that is how I found out that he lives in the downtown area of the city. He just mentioned that it was downtown but no other clues. He is also illegal. I know the make and model of his car and year. Yes when he is served he will know it is from myself. He was told by myself that I reported his crime. Is my best option a private eye?

Process servers are PIs and skip tracers, but if he moved away and is not bothering you, you are just going to open a can of worms by doing that.

No, he had already planned to move to my city this summer. We were in and off and on relationship. I met him the day after he arrived here and at my place. I did not have a chance to see where he was living or go to his place.

what has he done? has he been shadowing you, showing up at your workplace, hanging around your home?

I just fear the majority of men and he is one. He know's that I went to the police a week after what he did to me. He called me two days after I sent him some legal info on what he did was a crime and was sweating balls over it.
