Could it be possible to not see someone anywhere else within your own area/city?

i'm experiencing something off with this girl i know , we actually get along really well and seems to be a genuine connection but we live in the same city of 20,000 and i've never once seen her outside of the pub/restaurant downtown where she works and where we've also hung out when she was off work.

i had something like this happen once before was about 10 years ago , had meet this bartender at a different spot downtown and never saw her anywhere but bars downtown but we didn't get along well and it didn't end well so not sure if this is the same or different

our city or town isn't that big , it has 1 high school , 1 hospital , 1 wal mart , we only got a starbucks a year or so ago. it has 1 mcdonalds , this area is kind of busy during the summer with tourists and such but still

she was actually away at school for a bit but been back 2 months now and never seen her anywhere else yet. i know that she has a car so can move around freely and been to some places she mentioned. there is other restaurants and stores near the place where she works and i've never even seen her in them.

i wonder if maybe she's doing this intentionally due to her role at the bar and trying to see less of people around here but then i've seen other girls from that pub before at the gym or other nearby restaurants so not necessary typical behaviour

tried to talk to her about this so odd and frustrating , what i got out of her , her family has a dog and a cat , i asked if she went to the gym as i had seen some of her girlfriend's there and she said no. she's also said she wasn't that interested in the other restaurants in town. not sure if she found my? off or just in an odd mood , i said specific i hadn't seen her anywhere else and wondered what she did around town

still yet to see her anywhere else , she and some girlfriend's are supposedly going to a country bar night in another town be interesting to see if she shows and what she's like there as it be only second time i've seen her outside of restaurant this summer , other time was in may at same bar

At my old job, my dad gave me rides to work out with sometimes my friend and I would show up over an hour before my job started since that was the only time I could get a ride, and I would hide in the washroom stalls or in the coffee stores near by instead of hanging out with the other workers before my shift started cause if I talk to too many people, I might make enemies who gossip about me. It’s also why I avoid posting on Facebook, if I’m known, I risk being the subject of harassment and gossip.

you think its possible she like hides out before or after work? like just waits in her car and does nothing. i also don't know what her car looks like so difficult to spot it around town. or near the restaurant

but somedays her shift doesn't start till 5 pm , what does she do all day? a lot of time to do nothing ,

she was doing an online course , she might be devoting a little time towards it but not the entire day. i'm pretty sure she doesn't have another job. she gets a lot of shifts at the restaurant and makes good money so wouldn't see why she'd want or need another. around 2 years ago she mentioned something about working briefly at a liquor store cause restaurant was closed due to covid so around 2020 but that only other place i can ever recall her working at , never actually saw her there as i never went in there much

its technically still a town , its grown in recent years so seems bigger. so perhaps seems odder in a large town of 20,000 that i don't see her anywhere else ever

thats what i wonder if she's trying to keep a low profile and avoids certain places cause of her profile at the bar

or may have something to do with her schedule , a lot of the time i get into town at 5 pm and she's already at work then so wouldn't be at other places if she's there

she looks like she goes to a gym but i never saw her there and she's never mentioned it , so not sure where she's working out if at all

i see her regularaly at the restaurant / pub , hasn't been any gaps of more than a couple days most maybe 3 or 4 when i haven't seen her there. she's only left town for 2 reasons from what i know a concert in the city one weekend and a siblings graduation in another city

i'm still at a loss to explain her behaviour , what would an average 20 something young women have to do or likely do outside of work

obviously shopping , food , drug store , a lot go to the gym , has to be friends houses/places around town that she goes to , i also though she had a dog or her family has one

i'm pretty sure she's mentioned going to starbucks but i never go there and a sushi place nearby but has to be other stuff a person would go into , dollar stores see a lot of traffic so that one seem obvious or wal mart
