Don’t you hate it- that now we have iPhones, you can tell when someone is an iPhone user, and more importantly, that you can no longer use the excuse of:
MY. PHONE. DIED.
Because with the efficient charging feature of iPhone- it can turn on instantly, just as long as it’s plugged in, and connected to a charging chord/outlet. :]
How. Nice.
Is anybody specifically appreciative of this feature?
It can come in handy for serious matters. Emergencies as well, 🤷♀️ but it just can’t be used in the case of a dreaded and unwanted phone call. 🏃♀️
Anybody else? Just me? 🙋♀️
Thoughts?
(this question is not related to the professional question I made earlier; this was due to call with a family/relative who is retired, but is a bit clingy and needs some T. L. C- that I find difficult to provide at times, lol).

No need for me to make excuses. I try to be honest but nice. If I don't want to talk anymore or pick up for someone I will tell them, I don't have time right now for a call or interaction. I'll politely tell them I'm free from this time to that time if you are. This also sets a boundary of when I need to go.
It definitely makes sense. I suppose in all honesty, I never developed boundaries for phone calls. It’s odd to me, but needed. It’s the mature/responsible thing to do, and the best way moving forward for both or however many callers.
I appreciated this comment 😁. Thanks!
You're welcome! I wasn't always doing this. It took me time to feel comfortable doing this.
I don't live on my phone and enjoy not being connected to it. I will often tell anyone I am close to that I won't be available certain times of the day just to not have to carry it with me or be bothered by texts/notices.
I hope you don’t mind if I use this as a tip for my future reference! 🤞 💯
By all means, it works for me. I find I accomplish way more in a day, when I do those blackout sessions on my phone.
