My parents found alcohol in my room?

Question

So I'm obviously not legal, I was curious so I tried some and hated it, but I was too afraid  to put it back. My mom found it in my room (she's very paranoid about that stuff and she found it because it's not were it was) I'm pretty embarrassed about this. What do I do?

Just be honest, man. =] Tell her exactly what you told us here. Was this your mom's/parent's booze? Apologize for sneaking around and snagging the bottle to begin with, it was wrong of you and you see now that it was stupid to do. But you were curious and wanted to try it, in the relative safety of your home, not at some random party with a bunch of people you may not know or trust. Explain that you didn't like it and have no further interest in exploring that particular avenue after satisfying that curiosity, and you won't try to pull that kind of s.hit again. And apologize again, lol.

Yeah, she'll probably still be mad, but you get to feel good about coming clean, and being totally honest about it. If nothing else, I think she might appreciate your maturity in how you handled the situation after the fact, even though you did mess up and make an unwise decision. Accept whatever consequences are given to you with the same mature attitude, be respectful and don't argue with her about it. Whatever you do, don't bitch or complain, because then she'll never take your remorse seriously.

Explain to them what happened. Be aware that they may believe you or they may not believe you. They may also have less trust for you now as well. Live with the consequences. Nothing else you can do until you're 18 and can move out.

Just tell them you only keep it there for your 27 year old biker boyfriend who comes to visit you some nights. By the time they realize that isn't true, they will be so relieved they won't care about the alcohol.

learn to hide it lol. I only got caught drinking once and I told my mom I'm a teenager ad pulled the "you were a teenager once weren't you?!" everything worked out fine lol good luck! :)
