I’ve been sneaking into my boyfriends house, he lives about an hour away. He fell asleep and didn’t set the alarm we usually put on to tell us I gotta leave ASAP before his parents come down into his room. His mom came in and started yelling and asking questions about who I was and what I was doing there. She smacked the shit out of him and told me to leave then she took his phone and went to get his dad. I left but I’m just worried about our relationship now. We had plans to meet up again later today but now I don’t think I should go, how long should I wait to see him again and should I just stop going over to his house and remain long distance? We are both turning 17 in a few months so we are still minors. I usually don’t do stuff like this so I have anxiety because I got caught doing something I know I shouldn’t. I have guilt too because he’s in trouble because of me.

Ok the age of consent in your country has a big bearing on it. In the UK it's 16 so you're not breaking laws. Other countries maybe you are.


But at 16 it's very much parents home, parents rules. If they're not ok then it's not ok. It might have been different if you weren't sneaking round. Remember she finds her son in bed with a stranger. If she had met you, then it would likely be a bit different.

You should not feel guilty, You are not the only téenager who has experienced this. I don't know if You will see him in school or somewhére else outside of the house. Íf He truly cares about You He will come around perhaps You should write Him a letter and mail it to Him without yóur return address if texting, calling or emailing Him is not possible. If your boyfriend lives at home you have to respect the parents house if you want to go over there. The mom shouldn't have smacked him up, though. Teenagers do this stuff, it's just part of life. It doesn't make you a bad person or anything. You should stay away from his house until his mom says you can come over, don't let him sneak you in again because it's going to cause more problems for both of you.

I don’t have a phone just my computer but I would have set the alarm, I thought he did but he didn’t. And their biggest issue with us seeing each other is that I’m a stranger to them and I was in their house. Sorta a big issue.
